I was in Rome with wife a few years back. I think Roma were playing Napoli on a Saturday night. We decided that we'd go but we're warned by locals not to go. As we were visitors we'd be attack. They would just know and go for you. We decided to give it a miss.

Can’t see them attacking visitors. We went in the curva sud for Roma v Real Madrid, they didn’t do owt to us or the Real Madrid fan that celebrated in their end.

That's what we were told. Napoli fans have a large ultra following too. Maybe that's what they meant. I don't if there's history between the fans.
