Little trees at the AOL

these type of trees were specially chosen as they were cheap, but also this species of tree will have a large growth spurt between the age of 8 to 12 years old. Therefore you should see a marked difference in the next few years.

now now now

Trees don't grow overnight you know...

And there aren't many places where you can buy a 100 year old oak tree like, never mind about 100 or however many we have at the AOL.
Plus, if there were somewhere that sold them, it's unlikely they would deliver them, and not sure it would be too easy to plant them either.

I don't think that's right. I saw a documentary about the very phenomenon - some young pup of a dairy farmer whose back garden was blighted by it. Bloke called "Jack" something or other.

Everytime I drive past the training ground i think how pathetic them trees are. Looks like they bought them for 50 pence each at B and Q. Years later and they are still not much bigger.

Whats the point of spending all that money and spoiling it by scrimping on little trees.

Same with the off colour red seats.

Its these little things that drag us down. We will never be a big club untill this small minded culture is changed. By investing in big trees it could change the mindset of the club.

thats quality

Well I may be going out on a limb here but this thread really needs pruning back as it is getting out of hand.

By investing in larger trees, the A.O.L. would be free from prying eyes, especially at this time of year when everyone is trying to keep a lid on who´s signing who.

If planting smaller trees was an attempt to save money, well, as usual, it is back-firing big time.

I am not saying change them, I am just saying "let this be a lesson learnt".

We are better than this.

This is the first time you've actually bothered your arse to go back to one of your horrendous attempts at a wind-up! Fair play!
