It doesnt matter mate check out arsenals seats there starting to change colour already and they seem a much higher class of seat. You cant stop the weather.

TBF Arsenals seats aren't the same as ours, they're big padded, high backed armchair things rather than just plastic.

He's right that ours are the only ones to have faded so badly, look at Man U, Liverpool, Middlesbrough, all red seats, all been all seater since before we built the SOL and none anywhere near as faded as at the SOL, we clearly used the cheapest money could buy. Not that it really makes much difference apart from aesthetically like.

I suppose it depends on how the sun hits the seats, ours seem exposed alot if you check the main stand seats they dont look anywhere near as faded as the ones the sun hits all the time in the north and east stands. Old trafford seems to cover most of there seats from the sun, wasnt that one of the reasons they gave for there pitch being shit for a canny few years a few years ago. I dont know how boros is built ive been there twice and its almost angled like ours but i cant remember how the sun hit the stadium.

They are fading though.

And there's a reason why the SoL cost £17m to build as opposed to £390m it cost to build the Emirates.

I'd rather see us in the Premiership rather than in a 80k seater gold plated stadium.

Everytime I drive past the training ground i think how pathetic them trees are. Looks like they bought them for 50 pence each at B and Q. Years later and they are still not much bigger.

Whats the point of spending all that money and spoiling it by scrimping on little trees.

Same with the off colour red seats.

Its these little things that drag us down. We will never be a big club untill this small minded culture is changed. By investing in big trees it could change the mindset of the club.

 worst and stupidest thread ever
