Everytime I drive past the training ground i think how pathetic them trees are. Looks like they bought them for 50 pence each at B and Q. Years later and they are still not much bigger.

Whats the point of spending all that money and spoiling it by scrimping on little trees.

Same with the off colour red seats.

Its these little things that drag us down. We will never be a big club untill this small minded culture is changed. By investing in big trees it could change the mindset of the club.

i agree we should spend money on them not players.......bell end

Yes, Short, Quinn and Bruce out! Relegation is a certainty because the trees at the training ground aren't big enough.

They are sub conscious examples of matephors. Ambition

From little acorns, a mighty oak will grow. Just takes a while you prat.

Quinny and Short might be good, but they cannot make trees grow quicker:roll:

I remember when the council planted some trees outside our house in the late 70's. They were on little posts the same as the ones at the AOL. They looked poor for years, but when I pass there now they look bloody brilliant.

As for the colour of the seats, I could not care less. I am normally looking at the pitch.

I think the trees argument is just daft but those seats do look shocking like, should have invested in better quality plastic. Not down to the current owners though.

Without a doubt, the size of the trees at the training ground is THE critical issue at the club right now.

Thats my point. When the trees were small nobody wanted to live in your street. Now they are big, everyone wants to live in your street.

Thank you and goodnight

Trees don't grow overnight you know...

And there aren't many places where you can buy a 100 year old oak tree like, never mind about 100 or however many we have at the AOL.
Plus, if there were somewhere that sold them, it's unlikely they would deliver them, and not sure it would be too easy to plant them either.

If we don't make a stand now, I fear our once proud club will be blighted by our association with sub-standard wooded plants for ever. :-(

They are not sub-standard, they are just temporarily vertically challenged. In a season many years from now, our training ground will be blessed with countless trees of majestic size and stature. In the meantime we need to put up with tossers like this.

We'll have to put up with tossers like this long after the trees boast a majestic size, I think.

Just look at the size of the trees at Chelsea's training ground, no wonder we are so far behind them on the pitch.

FFS Bruce you pie eating bastard.

I fully agree mate! They should have shipped 2000 year old Giant Redwoods in from the States. A real statement of intent.

I agree - think big. We've never been the same since we got shot of the 2 pint glass.

To be fair, the trees have had a lot of injuries this season and we haven't been able to field our best forest.

Shit, the trees at the training ground aren't very big, possibly because they were only planted about three years ago!!!!! EVERYBODY PANIC

Clearly yet another mag being a cunt (when we have more than enough of our own cunts on here), we've become infested with them recently. TyneRider, fuck off.

It doesnt matter mate check out arsenals seats there starting to change colour already and they seem a much higher class of seat. You cant stop the weather.
