Line of Duty series 5

If he'd kept it and used it to pay off his debt then they would have seen it as a bribe and been able to blackmail him. As he did nothing with the money the hairs planted on it were used to frame him.

The hairs were on corbetts body not the money. That could be a frame, or he met with that young criminal and something got transferred. Still open that.

He kept the money, his half, so he is bent and gill knew.

Also the laptop, porn:D:D

Yeah, agreed about the ending. Definitely leading to series 2. TBH, the whole cast were good, Graham, James, Suranne Jones, Jason Flemyng and the less well known cast members also... nice sinister cameo from Ade Edmondson as well.
Very good cast and I also agree about the ending. A very minor quibble I had with it was the 'diverse' characters being force fed in the background. Woman in Burkha carrying a skateboard, bloke dressed like a pimp etc. They served no purpose other than to say 'Look how diverse the estate is'. We got that from the main characters and the story and it felt like he was trying too hard.

Yeah, that seemed something more appropriate to a quirky comedy drama rather than something gritty/serious.

There you are another program loads enjoyed and watched and thought was good.

In fact good enough for its own thread!
I'm really not sure what point you are making.
You seem to object to people making valid criticisms of TV shows and can't comprehend that they didn't enjoy it.
There must be some massive conspiracy from the SMB TV snobs to all come to the same conclusion. They've even managed to rope a Guardian reporter into the act. A conspiracy so ridiculous and convoluted it could even make its way onto Line of Duty.;)

Just saying you in the minority mate in criticising two of the most popular shows on tv in recent years.

Which is why there is a even thread about them, if there were no good there would not be a thread about them in the first place.

Your other words about tv snobs and not comprehending people enjoy them are made up assumptions on your part
