Absolutely loads of them round the town pre match (especially Greens and The Rabbit), never seen so many in fact. At the game despite their numbers were really quiet (sat underneath them in NE corner). And when the goals went in they were completely silent.

Weird that because they were making loads of noise until the second went in and got behind them as they pressed on and got their goal and for a little while after

This. Easy for forgive teams going quiet when your own team throws 2 goals in its own net. I’d be very annoyed if we gave up goals like they did today, put it that way

Aye I'm in the north stand and that was my impression. Loud at the start (as mentioned on another thread it was a bit boring to hear the same dull old songs that every other club chant, but still), still made a bit of noise at 1-0, shut up at 2-0, then eventually made a bit more noise at the start of the second half (even before their goal). They weren't the loudest fans we've had here, but not many have been 3 down in the first half!

Thought they were quiet as fuck. Only sounded like a few hundred above me. Couldn't believe when I looked up and right and saw them all the way to the corner.

Thought they were quite loud tbh and I sat right below them.. They weren't as loud after our 3rd went in. But they were very vocal.
Agreed.
I was in the North Stand, and heard the usual offerings - Is this a library ? Shall we sing a song for you ?
They were vocal, but our first half goals, shut them up.

They were 3 down after half an hour tbf. Loads of families in their support (no bad thing). Away end seemed half full at half 2!

Could hardly hear them in the South Stand. It looked liked the singers were top of the stand to the East Stand side and apart from that section the rest of the support was sat down.

It struck me that it was a day out at a big ground for a lot of folk who don’t normally travel away with them.

Good numbers but never heard a peep from the South Stand. They also had no more then a few groups of them drinking in the town pub I was in pre match.

I thought they were great. Prematch I was worried that we would see another Coventry fiasco what-with them bringing 3500 but they were a very friendly bunch.

What I found really refreshing was the family atmosphere (a bit like Bristol Rovers/Wycombe last season). They came to have a good day and support their team without the need to go out like total wankers (unlike Coventry, Pompey, Southend and Luton). Yeah there was the Netflix stuff etc, but generally they were trying to lift their team.

I wish them well for the rest of the season
