Liam Rosenior

I'm really struggling over the KLD "Imminent" statement last week. Surely he is not stupid enough to release such a statement unless its 99.9% done. He surely would not have released that and only then invited Rosenior in for a second interview. It just makes no sense. There has to be someone else in the frame that the press haven't picked up on. It would be a PR disaster to make a "learned from mistakes of the past" comment and then appoint another duff manager.

I suspect a lot of what we are being fed is agents wanting to hock their assets in the press, using us as leverage for speeding up an appointment or negotiating a fatter offer.

I suspect KLD could be as thick as mince, but surely his advisers would not be.

Its just bloody bizarre.
Yea, we haven’t had any other PR disasters lately 😂

Sooner people realise everyone in senior management positions at the club is incompetent the better

Shambolic

That all makes sense but if it was as good as done Friday we would have been appointing by now.

I wouldn't say its him rejecting you but more likely the conditions he wants to impose on his 3mployment. Argyle had an initial talk with him and he wanted to stay at home for up to 4 days of the week, leaving "his team" to undertake the training etc. Argyle wanted him to move to the south west. That's as far as the talks went and was reported that he had rejected us. Truth it was a fifty fifty decision

He hung himself out to dry complaining all the time.

He's also in not great health so it's ridiculous talk
I wonder how many would be coaches have asked him for a private rundown about us. Presuming(and hoping) he’s upto it that is.

I also reckon Beale will have football friends and he’s sticking a boot in

Whilst I’m slightly pleased as I never fancied Rosenior, this looks like a shambles from the outside.

Either we appoint someone completely left field and prove there was a process otherwise it just leads to growing sense of unease at the incompetence of the last 12 months.

Not sure our lot would have a problem with that tbh. I mean it wouldn't be 'his team' (he not be allowed to bring many in) but would mean D:cool:ddsy could take most of the training

From the names left (very few), I’d take Challinor.

Is that the type of name that is going to convince Chris Rigg and Dan Neil to commit to the club?

Two of the few good players we have at the club. They’d be off in a shot and no one could blame them.

Its got to be Cifuentes or someone similar over Challinor or Heckingbottom type appointments at this stage to show any ambition to fans and current players.

Well I didn’t want him so him wanting to speak to Burnley in the hope they offer him a job to sack us off is ok with me.
Just for the karma I hope Burnley don’t offer him it.

I would think the chances of Burnley offering him the job are fairly small, think they would be able to do better. Rosenior could be thinking his stock is higher than it is and end up without anything.
