No it's what's happened. Don't blame me because you've read it wrong.

I didn’t read it wrong.

If you’re now going to pretend to have not read my posts on the issue - or, indeed, if you’ve just not read them - then that’s your fault, not mine.

You’re embarrassing yourself now. Although to be fair, they’re not giving you much to work with these days in defending them.

We brought in strikers with the right attributes but they didn’t score. I’d say the fact we finished 16th was more about the injuries to key players over a lot of other things.

The guy from Hull is probably hoping to get the Burnley job. Burnley who will be favourites for promotion. We just finished 16th. We were in league one two years ago.
The right attributes? Have you seen them play? They’re nowhere near the level we are, not even close. The primary attribute you want from a striker is the ability to score goals which you freely admit they didn’t.

Rusyn, runs around - not particularly intelligently and has the build of a 14 year old girl. Never looks likely to score.
Hemir, looks completely disinterested, even in the u21s and like a fish out of water. Never likely to score.
Mayenda, went on loan to Hibs who have been really struggling up-front and made a single appearance from January, wasn’t even making their squad. Never likely to score.
Burstow, failed a League One level with Charlton and tried his bets to miss his single goal for us. Never likely to score.

What are these attributes then?

Exactly.

Who in their right mind - if they had any other decent options - would come here and take responsibility for Speakmans bad decisions?

Everyone who’s told me in the past that “what Sunderland are doing is the same as any other club with a sporting director”, should be taking a close f***ing look at what’s happening now.

What we’re doing - the way we sideline our managers from key decisions - is nothing like what other clubs do. Speakman’s just been able to convince our particular owner that this is how things should work - because our particular owner is a 20-something with nothing to his name but his dad’s success, and half a sports management degree.
Spot on...

And as things stand we look almost certain to be back in League One this time next year.

Hang around a while longer we’ll be back there again soon

You have clearly.
What you've posted previously is utterly irrelevant. You've read that statement wrong.
A statement that was absolutely pathetic as it told us absolutely nothing.

Rusyn scored 14 in 32 for his previous club so he definitely does know how to score. He was also voted player of the month in his league before we bought him. I’ve seen flashes. But it was his first season in British football. I’m not writing him off just yet

Fair enough, in the Ukrainian League which, form his showings here, seems akin to the Northern League to me .

He's absolutely shite man.

I think Mundle, Pembele and Aouchiche have all showed promise too
Possibly but all bench warmers with everyone fit. AO always has his head up and trying to create something, it's just not really happened for him, but the whole team has been operating on two cylinders in that time do its not just him, everyone has looked shite under Dodds. Pembele looked much more comfortable in his last couple of outings. I've yet to see anything promising from Mundle, working hard but never looks like he's going to go past defenders, so far only have Speakman raving about him to go on which makes me nervous.
