This is the key, and it'd be the same whoever comes in. Recruitment HAS to be right this summer. Last chance saloon for Speakman and co.
If he turns out bad you would have thought speakmans position would be untenable.

Should be now imho.
Maybe Dodds will balance out the negative passing game with his all out attack coaching style?
Dull snd Duller. Can’t wait for the start of the season and I’m usually positive.

Very interesting, I'm not sure of the relevance though mate.

Derby made him interim and went with Warne as permanent.

Hull gave him full reigns as a former player/club servant and likely really wanted it to work out.

They were in 5th at X-mas and recruitment was deemed good, so missing out of playoffs at 7th by season end had club brass asking questions about his playing style/tactics, general belief he was not managing to the player's strengths... The suspected reasons behind sacking...

The xG data pretty much backs up the owners comments tbf. Generally created fuck all and more often than not had a higher xGA.

Presumably he was just as much of a loon when he appointed him.
People relying on xg to give them a full picture is one of the worst developments in modern football.

100% he will go if next season turns into another shit show.

By that point the majority of fans will have turned on him and KLD at the match and Kyril will use him as a fall-guy to relieve the pressure on himself.

That would be true of any manager in the world though.
