Liam Rosenior

As a positive slant on Rosenior, I truly believe that if he had done what he’s done in a foreign league, folk would be welcoming him.

Hull were 21st when he took over; they finished 7th. They also didn’t have a striker.

Last season was his first full season as a boss. He’s credited with the good work Rooney had done at Derby and did a good job with them. His style may not be perfect but he’s young enough to adapt that.

Does he get the heart racing? No. Is he the safest appointment out there atm? Yes. I think he could be excellent.
I don’t think he would have been on a list before purely because he was seemingly safe in a job had just been nominated for manager of the year.
Very good points - especially about if he done the same in a foreign league.

So does he play defensive boring football or open attacking football? Cos I'm seeing both opinions coming out of Hull fans & pundits on twitter :lol:
Well confused.

For me it’s just proof that the club is being run appallingly. They’ve had high in half a year to replace Mowbray and they’ve taken 3 or 4 months over this appointment only to end up with someone who is only available because he’s been sacked recently. He obviously wasn’t on the original shortlist or part of their master plan.

They’ve fucked about and dithered and ended up with someone who they weren’t even considering as recently as a month ago. Hardly a ringing endorsement of their recruitment process is it?
100% this.

There is no plan

It's a lazy comparison, one person says and loads just repeat it without much thought
It’s like this ‘he plays boring football’ craic based on their game at our place last year and an eccentric owner who’s tried to justify it
Year before they drew 4-4 up here it was brilliant, watched them in 3-3 with Ipswich towards end of season they were front foot and excellent
Facts are he’s improved hull massively over 18 months and he left with good wishes off hull fans
Where this Beale nonsense come from, ridiculous
People just want a foreign manager as they think it equals better is the reality

All due respect pal, I’m regularly called a negative **** on here.

I would love some context on how a manager who goes into a club in the relegation zone, gets them save with ease, then just misses out on the play offs is such a bad choice.

I seriously don’t get it, Mowbray done an amazing job in the season we made the play offs, and Rosenior was one win from doing the same thing.

Read all of the above and you will see why you don't get it......
