Liam Rosenior

As a positive slant on Rosenior, I truly believe that if he had done what he’s done in a foreign league, folk would be welcoming him.

Hull were 21st when he took over; they finished 7th. They also didn’t have a striker.

Last season was his first full season as a boss. He’s credited with the good work Rooney had done at Derby and did a good job with them. His style may not be perfect but he’s young enough to adapt that.

Does he get the heart racing? No. Is he the safest appointment out there atm? Yes. I think he could be excellent.
I don’t think he would have been on a list before purely because he was seemingly safe in a job had just been nominated for manager of the year.
Spot on post
Especially about the foreign league
People are obsessing over a still/Maric etc, based on what? Maric in particular
He’s done a good job at hull they in a much better position than when he took it
He’s someone we can build with over couple of years who has a set style of play
Really hope he gets it

The process has wrecked the early perception of Rosenior. Let that sink in. If he was snapped up quickly we probably would have been relatively happy.
That’s it for me too. Not a comment on roseniors ability but the process has been an absolute shambles. Fans of other clubs are pissing themselves laughing at us online.

Silly to use the ‘7th-place with that team’ stick to beat Liam Rosenior with imo, he is a young coach with a distinct style •possession-based•fluid attack •style suits profile of players•took Hull from relegation zone to 7th in 2 seasonsSolid appt for me

Sacked by Hull city.

I’m sure we could have talked Beale up in the same way.

Beale MkII, Speakman remains top dog and his mate stays in a job.

We needed fundamental changes this summer not more of the same.

For me it’s just proof that the club is being run appallingly. They’ve had high in half a year to replace Mowbray and they’ve taken 3 or 4 months over this appointment only to end up with someone who is only available because he’s been sacked recently. He obviously wasn’t on the original shortlist or part of their master plan.

They’ve fucked about and dithered and ended up with someone who they weren’t even considering as recently as a month ago. Hardly a ringing endorsement of their recruitment process is it?

Sacked off half a season and bullshit a fanbase for months and could end up appointing someone months later they didn’t want anyway because nobody wants to come.

Doesn’t look great does it.

They wouldn’t have even tried to get him if he was still at Hull, does anyone genuinely believe he was a serious consideration a few weeks ago? He is available probably will accept the limited funding he will have and will have to accept the requirement to work with the existing coaching set up.

To answer your question a guess would be fourth or fifth choice at best.
Not even in the top 10.

Rosenior does not play good football. If they appoint him it will go down like a lead balloon imho.

Embarrassing
Mowbray was sacked here what do you think of him?
What makes him Beale Mk2??
Any foreign name regardless of who no doubt you’ll be over the moon I’ll bet
