Not necessarily, I believe that managers are usually put on gardening leave when they are sacked for a period of time so clubs can get something from their deals.

At least with Still we’ve attempted prior and have still been pursuing him so know he’s been a target.
Rosenior is just someone that’s left over. If we wanted him that much we could have signed him a month ago for free.
We surely didn’t sack last season off in Feb to ‘reflect’ (or whatever it was they said) in the hope Rosenior would get sacked so we could wait another month to make a move for him.

Not entirely imo.
The striker situation has gone on far too long and along with our going out of the playoffs with a bit of a gust like farty whimper, people were rightly pointing out some issues.
