Liam Rosenior

I remembered him too thought he was a decent player - so being a saddo I dug out his stats. Scored 62 goals in 198 games which isn't a bad strike rate however he must have been pretty injury prone as that was over 10 years hence seemed to average 20 games a season or so

Plagued by Injury during his four years at West Ham and spent a lot of time in surgery and the treatment room after knee problems.

Won't lie if it's not still I'm warming to the thought of this lad, done decently well in a short space of time. Was the brains behind Rooney haha spell at derby and done a really decent job at hull changing them from a relegation troubled side to play off contenders, their chairman seems a bit of a loose cannon too so can't have been easy.

Not sure employing a manager that is sacked by Hull City would get the juices flowing.
I don't think you will find any podcast / You Tube from any Hull followers which show anything other than those fans being shocked and disgruntled at his departure.
A manager who can develop young players and who entered the professional ranks in the manner Rosenoir did may be what is required.
His assistant also develops/has experience of coaching, young players.

Experience of The Championship may be more beneficial than a foreign laptop coach.

All that does is show how f***ing pathetic both are mate.

They finished what 20 points ahead of us? Yet xg had them worse, Haway man ffs 😂
Mainly because we couldn't finish chances to save our lives. They created fewer chances than us and gave away more, that was even true in the 2 games we played.

He's a negative manager, even their owner is saying it's to do with style of play, he's not for us.

Know a couple of Derby fans, they were disssapointed when he was peddled in favour of Warne, started the season after admin with 6 players under contract, and a bunch of promising youngsters poached by other clubs
Had them played 12, won 7, drew 2 & lost 3 before Warne came in

I'd take him above a few mentioned on in the press.

Apparently Hull are after Mark Robins. Not a chance he'd go there (lives in Derby and doesn't want to relocate). Probably just lazy journalism, but I'd be amazed if it happened (plus the owner doesn't seem like the sort that would get on with MR)

Hull are just a gigantic tsunami of diarrhea behind the scenes and have been for almost 20 years now. Absolutely no reflection on Rosenior who did as good a job as anyone could reasonably expect

8-10 in and out every window, every 5 years get some sort of transfer embargo and owners on random ego trips

Would people take him here?
Wasn’t really impressed with them in either game against us (I wasn’t impressed with our performances against them either though).

They were very ordinary going forward and just difficult to break down.

I’d be underwhelmed if we hired him to begin with.

I was talking to a Hull fan yesterday who really likes Rosenior and is very disappointed they’ve let him go.

In fact LR was his 2nd favourite Hull manager of all time, after Steve Bruce. So he must be good.

Said even before he was sacked I’d like Rosenior. It’s a bit embarrassing being rejected publicly by Still but I think Rosenior will be better. Knows the league, will know the players and have contacts elsewhere, steady calming influence, good coach. Must be one of our options. Hope he can bring who he needs with him.
