I'd actually be surprised if Rosenior wanted the job. His stock is still high and there will be other, less batshit clubs with vacancies soon enough.

Apart from him having a full season in charge of a team he kept up the previous season, and got them on the verge of the play offs.

Tbf people on here were saying he should get playoffs when they were signing some canny players and pushing the boat out a bit. Tbf to rosenior their owner seems a bit daft like so we don’t know the full story as to why they missed out on the pkayfoffs.

So we didn’t want Rosenior and he didn’t want us, but because no other fucker wants either us or him, then we’ll end up together. Couldn’t make it up, but it seems depressingly like this could be the outcome

When did he say he didn't want the job? Maybe we told him Pascal was 1st choice but now that he doesn't want it resenior is hesitant to work as someones 2nd choice.

Because the owner is a loon is one perspective.

The owner says the football wasn’t attacking enough and he expected better with the squad he had.

Others say he wasn’t given a proper striker and it was harsh.

The xG data pretty much backs up the owners comments tbf. Generally created fuck all and more often than not had a higher xGA.

Presumably he was just as much of a loon when he appointed him.

You can add recent results to that as well. Relegation form over much of the season. Absolutely fucked themselves over deciding to ‘plod on’ whilst they took time to ‘reflect’ on getting a manager.

Relegation form side with little cash and likely hood of best players leaving under a fair bit of staffing and autonomy constraints doesn’t really seem that appealing for many tbh.
