Liam Rosenior - for manager maybe

It's either massive due diligence....not our forte of course or the remit handed to any potential managers is scaring them all off. The latter for me

100+ days to get a manager sacked by the footballing giants that are Hull City or one that has been available since before Christmas (Heck).

Obsession with progression.

It doesn’t matter who it is if they’re being told that they have to work with these staff and have no control over recruitment

He’d be a disaster and the only reason he wouldn’t be sacked by Xmas is to save Speakman from more embarrassment.

I don’t think Rosenior is a given, isn’t he in the running for Norwich?

He might have no interest working under the structure and limitations we have in place either.

Edit: Might be League 1 but Birmingham too, their owners have said they are spending big to bounce right back. Thats an attractive job imo

No job in League One is attractive for that level of manager

In practical terms, one of the strongest candidates who is bright and very well respected in the game with useful relevant experience and would be attractive to players considering joining us (both loan players and purchases).

In today's bullshitty trendy fltbynight footballing terms, not glamerous/continental enough.

Or, he's someone who was provided with a very good squad with one of the higher wage bills in the league this season, won 3 of his last 13 to bottle promotion a playoff spot, and has a tactical setup and playstyle that is at odds with the squad he would be walking into it.

Aside from that, he has had one other proper season in management in which he finished 15th in the Championship.

What player is going to find playing for Liam Rosenior as manager an attractive proposition FFS?

It would be similar to Beale all over again.

What are people making up?
That he’s defensive. That his football is dull, that Hull fans weren’t keen on him. Some irrational owner says something, we have two boring games with them, a ginger kid makes a YouTube video and people jump to conclusions about things.

A player who thinks he’s a great coach and is good with people

Those things aren’t made up mate.

99% of modern day players who would be realistic targets for us won't have even heard of him man

In relative terms he was a plodder who played a handful of seasons in the PL, largely at the wrong end of the table, and never played international football.

It really is stretching all realms of reality to suggest that Rosenior is going to help attract players to the club. It's a ridiculous suggestion actually.

He's not Zinedine Zidane FFS
