I took that as a laugh at the irony of Cattermole wanting to stick around and win something and then it being his penalty that meant we didn't. Still a bit shite, but not really the same as laughing at Cattermole.

I appreciate your point. But whether he's laughing at the irony of the situation or not, he's still laughing at Cattermole missing and obviously how gutted he'll of been, and doesn't seek to clarify it.

When you hear it all you have to imagine we were completely dysfunctional on a day to day basis. Would have been interesting if he was here when Maja was as around November/December I thought we looked more of a team. I think that sale killed us, to lose actual talent too.

Shame they didn’t ask him about Grigg anarl seeing as he was just going in on everything

Said McGeady would always jump in anywhere if there was anything intelligent going on to show he’s more intelligent and if O’Nien was reading he’d always go and ask what he’s reading then try to show he was intelligent. Didn’t hear him specifically say he’d have a go. 1.03.45 ish

McGeady came across as an absolute cock throughout that interview. Not intentionally either as Morgan was obviously obviously one of his side kicks who thought it was hilarious, which makes it even worse that hes trying to big him up but shows him for what he is. That insight has totally vindicated Parkys decision to bin him in my book. Sounds like poison and I've seen the likes of him in all walks of life. Kicking balls away if he didn't agree with training ffs. Billy big bollocks and it would just ruin any morale or team ethos when you have one man, and his arse lickers, belittling and intimidating lads. Good riddance for me after hearing that.

Not think there’s big egos in football though mate? End of the day if the dressing room couldn’t deal with him it says as much about him as it does the dressing room imo.

We’re soft as fuck and it shows on the pitch too. Constantly bullied in away games.

Slagged off Catts, Oviedo and O'Nien. Portrayed McGeady as a god of all men. He came across as an arsehole

Obviously in with the "scottish clique" of Matthews, Maguire and McGeady. Aidan was probably even worse last year with two of them f***ing off and a new English manager (since that is seemingly a big deal although he never says it directly).

McGeady and Maguire were bullying O’Nien and got to a point that O’Nien put a transfer request in because of it but Parkinson bombed McGeady out hence he won’t play for SAFC again under Parkinson, was the same time Maguire went out of the team on his final warning to knuckle down and get fit, come back a stone lighter and playing properly!

I agree about Cattermole and thought it was uncalled for, sounded like he was playing up to interviewer but at the end of the day he only said Oviedo didn’t fancy it and kept going out of training with a calf injury which is probably factual and he said O’Nien plays up to the fans which he 100% does. Totally overrated off the back of it, nice lad though.

The whole interview just seemed as if its sole purpose was to slag off Sunderland. It was unprofessional and childish
