Travelled half way around the world to see the team live for the first time in nine years.

Amazing how far we have fallen but Grabbab is the least of our worries.

His goal scoring record in a poor team is outstanding, he thinks and plays at a different level and conserves energy for when he can make a difference, ie putting the ball in the net.

James Vaughn on the other hand runs around a lot with little purpose or end result and has the touch of an elephant. They are worlds apart.

Thought Vaughan played alright last week. He wasn’t alone in being limp yesterday mind.

On the face of it he seems like a good player but if you take away all his goals he actually contributed very little

After scrutinising his statistics it looks like he’s scored 12 goals in 1558 minutes of football. But if we remove those he has contributed absolutely NOTHING

Needs to do more for me.

Fantastic return in this side, will be a huge miss if he goes.

Grabban is bone idle and is an under achiever. He should have more goals than he actually has.
I'll never take to him as I don't like lazy players.

But I'm not sure why you are taking away his goals.

He's worth his place because of his goals. He'd just be a far better player if he worked.

Take that goal away and what else did he do?
Seriously ? I know it’s not really a seasonal thing to say, but give your arse a chance man.

Would also have been able to contribute at centre back or in our box at corners, leading to more clean sheets

If anything his being good at goals has hindered us.
:lol::lol: Alright hands up you hooked me.

What a ridiculous user name.

OP is clearly fishing...nobody is that retarded.
You would think so..

He should have more goals...some of the chances he’s got this season should’ve been buried. Saying that, our midfield is a bigger problem than anything Grabban has done this season.

Don’t forget he laid one on a plate for Honeyman, who then demonstrated how not to finish.

I thought there were a few times both him and Vaughan could of played others in yesterday but took it on and wasted it

The fact he's got so many goals in such a bad team shows he's contributing and we'd be doomed without the goals however that doesn't mean he can't contribute more in other ways and should be exempt from criticism

He's on loan to us, and unfortunately he's taking it like a holiday up North rather than the death or glory attitude which we exdpect from pretty much every player.... Clearly good enough for this level and has that natural goal scoring instinct.....have to agree though, if he put himself about more he'd have hit 20 by now. I'd go balls out to sign him; as CC's no1 striker I can only see more goals, and watch him fly! Frustrating, but crucially impressive at the same time.

Holds the ball up and uses it pretty well imho - and regarding his work rate at one point yesterday he was covering the left back position when Matthews went AWOL - too many telly watchers with shite opinions methinks
They only see which ever way the camera is pointing.

Yes, and if you take away all Kane's goals he'd be a Sunderland player.
