It's a good game this, can I play?

David De Gea - if you remove his saves, what does he do?

f***ing hell man.

Bennett's retarded. You must be seriously lacking in other evidence if you're using his quotes to back up your opinion.

I think Bennett's point was quite a good one actually. If Grabban applied himself a bit more I think he'd probably be able to play to a better level than he can now. In fact the way he seems to avoid any kind of physical contact whatsoever or jumping for the ball is beyond ridiculous and frustrating. However the 0.p's point about taking his goals away is nonsense given the amount of goals and the fact it's a fairly large contribution.

I always like that argument "If you take away his goals - he does nowt"

If you take away goals in football then wtf is the point in playing the sport? Ludicrous argument.

He's the only 1 that doesn't give 100% doesn't tackle, doesn't jump, when he loses the ball he just stands and watches, he does score goals so he contributes that way.

Much rather see him battling in midfield diving into tackles, creating chances for other players than actually putting the ball in the back of the net (how hard can that be)!!!!!!

Don’t forget he laid one on a plate for Honeyman, who then demonstrated how not to finish.

Would have liked to have seen McGeady at some point yesterday, or at least a gradual introduction of the subs. Grabban can always do a bit more but we lost out rhythm when he and the others went off.

Needs to do more like that or risk being labelled as one dimensional. Would a few clearances off the line or a slide tackle be too much to ask for?

On the face of it he seems like a good player but if you take away all his goals he actually contributed very little

After scrutinising his statistics it looks like he’s scored 12 goals in 1558 minutes of football. But if we remove those he has contributed absolutely NOTHING

Needs to do more for me.

Take away his goals and we would be rock bottom on about 4 points. Worth his weight in gold to us at the moment, Christ knows what we'll do in January if he is recalled.

Wrong.

If he’d replaced his goals with being a bit taller (for example) he could have contributed to other phases of play and won us more points

Done his job yesterday, if the defending hadn't been hapless for their goal we would have had 3 points courtesy of him.

Has a strikers instinct and seems to known where to go to get a chance whereas Vaughan, who works harder but never seems to be in the right place at the right time, runs around a lot though which is great but isn' going to won us any games.

A quick look. We would only be 4 points worse off. Still bottom but a lot less than I thought mind.

Probably the best summary. I got a lot of stick after the match yesterday for daring to be critical of his all round game however I was conceding that if he did those few things extra, hed probably be a very good player (ie above our level).
It's ok to be critical of things.......otherwise where would improvements come from.

I'll say one thing though....Coleman has taken him off the last 2 games (along with vaughan) so he's obviously wanted to change a formula that wasn't working in both
