Let's discuss the Monarchy

Make a start then?
Averaged 350 engagements a year. From patlimentry duties, hosting heads of state. Formal public engagements. Hosting public ceremonies. Visiting heads of state in other countries. Hosting military award ceremonies.
That’s without the dozens of administration duties per day including the passing and signing off official government documents, personal and public correspondence etc etc.

The public around the world loved her. Accept that you are in a small minority globally and move on. Simply by you trolling these threads proves she meant more to you than you think.
If she stirred up enough feelings in you to comment on the negatives without really knowing any facts then you must ask yourself the question ‘why didn’t I like her?”

The passing of the queen(and any other king/queen for that matter) represents a natural pause in the system of monarchy and an ideal time to discuss the system. The establishment are well aware of this and throughout history have created processess and procedures to ensure that a swift replacement is installed in order that the system continues

I imagine if there was 6 months between death of the incumbent and proclimation of a successor once the intial grief and competative mourning had subsided real questions would be asked

I'll be honest, I don't want a King or Queen. I don’t want to fund it and would rather see me taxes go elsewhere. I can't get my head around why have people living in poverty despite being one of the richest nations in the world, yet these privileged people become instant millionaires because they were related to William the Conquer. However, I would never dance on the grave of someone who has carried out the duty and service that was given to them without asking and I have a lot of respectfor the Queen as a person. I haven't commented anywhere else and won't say anything else publicly out of respect.
I'm similar. Not a huge fan. I probably wouldn't scrap them as they are part of our tradition.

I'm not crying about anything bonny lad I'm pointing out facts.
So what's your point?
The only point you have managed to make is that you aren’t happy about the cost of her funeral but you don’t know the cost of her funeral

Bizzare
We can have an elected head of state then, I'm not bothered. If they don't affect our lives then it's a waste of time and money having them surely.
So you’ve changed your mind already

All hail president jedward

I’ve always liked the tourism argument. Paris gets shitloads more tourists than London so maybe we should behead them all and increase income?
almost like no one ever goes to oxford bath stratford the lake district even bourton on the water...too busy visiting buck palace and windsor castle i imagine

So worse than down the pit then, massive respect.

How can you love/grieve for someone you don't know or even met?
How is speaking one's mind 'Trolling"?

establishment makes sure we do not have pause to
Exactly - how’s not the time. In 3 months time it will be - well let’s wait until Charles has died as he waited such a long time…….

Hopefully a few of the other countries will dump him as head of state. He should never have been made head of commonwealth automatically either so hopefully a few countries can question that as well.
