Let's all laugh at Crystal Palace

Look it was time for him to move on. Simply wasnt working for him here for whatever reason. Theres a decent chance he could click somewhere else so better we part. Graham? No chance, hes a different kettle of fish and we'll never shift him......cheers MoN.....we were right, he was wrong.

So just to clarify, in the same way that when Colback went to the Mags it was instantly decided that he was actually proper shit and had no redeeming features as a footballer, Wickham is now also the shittest player to have ever pulled on a red and white shirt and never did anything good ever.

Is that right? I'm out quite a bit at the weekend so just in case anyone asks me.

Its ok mate, weve got Danny Graham would much rather have a grafter in the squad.

Pardew's the world's best manager ever and the mags hounded him out. Surely if he's signing CW we should bow to his superior knowledge and not ridicule him.

You jest, but Graham is pretty f***ing good off the ball - dragging defenders over etc.
Wickham would wander idly about in the middle and then stand on his tippy toes when a cross came in.

Its not either or. We get shot of both Wickham and Graham. We cant dictate the order. We've been trying to shift Graham for years.

I don't know if it's just sour grapes from our lot but I think he'll do well there, and deep down most know this. I'm pleased we've got 9m but we've wasted about that on his f***ing apprentice wage.

If that lad goes on to hit double figures this year then it's clear we have MASSIVE problems with this team/coaches.

So just to be clear; when we signed him we didn't count the add-ons, but we are counting them now we're selling him?

same people who said we had the bin dippers pants down with hendo, think the same about palace .At the same time i cant understand what congertons job is , is he not the directer of football , if he couldn't see that these aren't up to it bridcutt, buckley, alverez with vergini and gomez being hit and miss, scocco is in there too, what the fook is he looking at , not doing very well is he ?

I don't know how many people you interviewed, during your research, but you somehow missed me.

For the record I'm delighted to see him out of the club after years defending him.

There's no sour grapes, I just don't have any faith that he'll ever have the heart to fulfil his potential.

That may change at Palace but, for whatever reason, he's made no progress at Sunderland and I can't see that changing.

So, for me, it's a yes because Sunderland are making no progress and Wickham is part of a team that keeps landing in the relegation clarts.

Unless we make some radical changes how can we ever get further up the table?

I doubt those claiming he'll hit double figures will be putting any money on it .......... will you?

Nail on head there marra he's had too much too young and seems to have very little desire to want to be first to every ball or be the one that drags the team up by the balls. He looks like he is happy to play and just get paid, I'm sure there's a very gifted footballer in there somewhere but with no heart he'll never make it.
Just hope we get someone in who will work and have the goal scorer instinct.

£9m for that heap of shite :lol:
Ffs
They got promoted recently , finished above us last season and no doubt will this season anarl.
Bought a young exciting english player, who when played in a team showing confidence and creating chances will do far better than he did here.
Yeah, hilarious

If he had the guts & application of a 'Dean Windass' he'd be unstoppable and worth a fortune.

Windass was a midget, compared to Wickham, but I'd back him to win more headers even now.

The difference is that Windass had a 'home style' haircut and a face you could split logs on. He'd never think twice about shoving his face into a flying boot or an elbow and he'd go anywhere to get a game of football, his last 3 clubs were non-league ......... Wickham, by contrast, doesn't need to worry about risking his hairstyle & make up because he's already made more money than Windass ever did.

Once he finishes playing he'll never be seen in football again ....... he doesn't seem to have any love of the game whatsoever.

As it stands providing he's first choice for them he'll out score all of our strikers next season. Nothing really to laugh at.

And you were doing so well ..........

Would you be prepared to stick £100 on that?
