She basically said she doesn't want to play with people who aren't good enough/on her level, at a time we ar looking to increase female participation. At some point that (difference in ability) will always apply when the lads leave the lasses, including your daughter, for dead.
I also said they didn’t get the numbers to make it worthwhile, but hey, you’re the expert!

Will we all be entertaining this thread encouraging schools to let girls (and boys) play hockey?? Given the success in the Commonwealth games surely it’s a must?? . . . The decisions of a Head of PE are literally becoming national discussion points.
Presumed hockey was offered up at most schools tbh. Was at ours.

What other sports are the staples at your school? Football, cricket, hockey and netball were the main ones growing up.
Football, Netball/Basketball, Rugby, Table Tennis/Badminton, Dance, Gymnastics.

Summer - Cricket, Athletics, Tennis

Then we offer loads of different ones through clubs too like Trampolining and Volleyball.

It’s a tricky one juggling them around.

Well ours had others you could dip your toe in, but the main ones were those that had teams etc.
