I dunno if Im alone on this but I really dont give a shit how many turn up.....I'm going and will enjoy the occasion, whether thats in the company of 25000,35000 or 45000 makes no difference at all to me

I'm disappointed but not surprised that tickets haven't flown out - but we were never going to sell out. We are selling about 1,000 a day so perhaps with a surge today and on Tuesday we may get up towards 40k

Tuesday night people can't get time off work
People are skint after Xmas
It's on tv
There are valid reason why it's not sold out
Some people are working away during the week (like me) a hostelry in Coventry will have to suffice unfortunately, wonder how many plastic Manc's will be in there with me?

£20 aint cheap like, I'm going with my son so £40 just after xmas & another £20 for the pair of us to go tomorrow, 60 friggin quid man for a couple of footy matches, more than a full days work for lots of people..
Will be giving my mate £102 today for man utd second leg and mags away, add to that £10 for today and £20 for tues. f***ing expensive this going to the footy malarkey like, especially when its shite more often than not.

I go on holiday on Monday, I always try and work holidays around fixtures and thought well at least I'm only missing one game, Southampton at home.

Bloody typical we get to our first semi-final in years and I'm away, I'm gutted :(. Me 75 year old dad will be there flying the flag though. And in my defence we are stopping at hotel at the airport tonight but I'm still going this afternoon :)

The club don't exactly help themselves in these games by not allowing anyone to buy a ticket unless they have a previous member / buying history for "safety reasons".

Oh yes, Mr Weir and his safety fears which for some reason the powers that be adhere to when we should be encouraging blokes to bring their kids along whether they support SAFC, Man Utd, Liverpool or Real Madrid.

You do know its only the person who purchases them that needs the number - one loyalty number can buy 6 tickets. Plus most Sunderland supporters should have a buying history,

Why is it disgusting???? after the dross we have had served this season and last are you really surprised? I'll be there but not looking forward to it one bit
I'll be there and can't f***ing wait. It's a semi final and our last one was ten years ago.

We may get stuffed, but who knows. Tuesday night is the reason I go to football. The day I stop getting excited about games like this, is the day I stop going.

Then I can come on here and declare I'm biggest fan going but can't be arsed to actually go to a match.

Yes I do know that - no matter how you dress it up, the club are making it more difficult for people to get tickets.

If my old man's mate from down the club just fancied going along cos its Man Utd, then he'd have to get my old man to speak to me to get him a ticket. Its pathetic man.
No paying allowed on the gate either - why? Because a few Man Utd supporters might turn up? So f***ing what. Get people in the ground paying the club money. Simple. Make it as easy as is possible for people to get into the match rather than making it more difficult (fare enough for a real high risk game like the Mags or possibly Boro, but other than that there's very little risk).

This.

Our fans are class man.

I can sympathise with people who can't afford it, I've been there myself, just think we should be aiming for a lot more than 30k for our first semi in a good while.

Like I said before, you buy a ticket and get one of two teams. One which can beat the likes of Everton and the other that is total shite.

It's already expensive enough for people going to league matches without gambling on which team they might get to see.
