Leicester sack three players.

Great stuff, it's about time these so called heroes realise they have a responsibility to their community.
Schoolkids all over Leicester will have had posters of these 3 on their bedroom walls.

Teaching kids to treat women like pieces of disposable shit shouldn't be encouraged imo.

Kick racism out? Yeah start with these 3 and keep going.

It's nowhere near the same thing .......... if it has to be explained it's not worth explaining.
Not a chance any kid has posters with them 3 on their wall. Nobody had heard of them until this incident.

Don't see how it's pathetic like, they were racially abusing someone. Deserve everything the daft twats get.
Exactly, good to see a club setting standards, especially with it being the managers son. What people don't understand is that Cambiasso wouldn't get sacked because he's a top professional and wouldn't be involved with such stunts. Well done Leicester in my view.

Any discussion about other players being treated differently is another issue for another thread.

The fact is that 3 "professional" footballers go to Thailand as club ambassadors paid for by the shirt sponsors and the club owner.

They film themselves racially abusing some young girls who may have been paid to spend time with them, then pass the video round 'for a laugh' to show their team mates what they got up to whilst representing the club, the owner and their sponsors.

And people are seriously trying to debate why they've been sacked?

I despair.

They would never have sacked them had they been any good. Nice way to free up some wages I suppose.

They should have been sacked by the way, no excuse for that kind of behaviour and in their position they fully deserve losing the privilege of playing football for a living.

Trial by press. f***ing ridiculous.

Eh? It's not like they didn't do it. I suppose as a long shot they might claim it's actually a fully consenting film and they have not taken advantage of desperate prostitutes and are not mocking them or mistreating them.

Absolutely the right decision. Not trial by media. The media release it into the public sphere. After that...right decision made by the club.

I fully agree with you, I was just asking if it was three key players would they do it? I think for the good of the game teams need to take a stand and do the right thing, for example Vidal was drink driving in Chile last night and hasn't been kicked out the tournament

Id like to think they wouldn't , but then id like to think that no one would put them selves in that position, All i was getting to is it is an easy decision when they are three unknown players would it of been different for key players
I think owners would sack any player aren't they fro Thailand? There was also claims of racism wasn't there?

Would they have sacked a first team player had he been implicated? Would they fuck.

For a start you can't criticise the club for a hypothetical situation, the club sacked the three players.

Secondly even though it is hypothetical the club almost certainly wouldn't have sacked £30,000,000 worth of players.

I remember when Denis Wise was sacked for breaking Callum Davidson's jaw when he was asleep in his bed. Wise was finished as a player and was collecting £36,000 a week, you just knew the club wanted to get rid of him. If Thierry Henry played for Leicester at the time there's no way he would be sacked.

Fans are just as bad, at the Sunderland vs Leicester game and you got a corner Adam Johnson came to take it and was roundly applauded by the home fans. If he wasn't your best player he would be nowhere near the team and the public wouldn't want anything to do with him whilst his innocence was in question but because he's good that gets overlooked.

I'm not saying it's just Sunderland fans who would look the other way on an under-age sex case but fans in general and their moral standpoint is based on how good the player is as a footballer.

Whatever you say ........ you're wrong but the fact remains they're supposed to be role models.

Is Watmore even in that poster?

I bet most of you wouldn't be able to pick him out even if he is.

Don't take it personally. Your club should be applauded for doing the right thing IMHO. No point trying to deflect responsibility onto any other clubs fans or players- just take it on the chin. Whether your players being sex tourists in a country that you're desperate to exploit has backfired massively in your collective faces, will probably be determined by how many shirts you sell in that part of Asia. Good luck with that.

Were any of them involved?

We'll never know. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some in there.

As if many people in Thailand will want to buy a Leicester shirt

Back row, far right.
