The scale of improvement of the team and of many individuals is so huge that it is verging on impossible. Then when you see the levels of energy week in week out then anyone with a logical mind has to question its validity.

Maybe I'm wrong but I believe that one day something will come out about how this has been done and the answer may well be a chemical one - Lance Armstrong anyone???
I'll ask again. Can you explain how doing improves the skill levels of professional footballers? Or their ability to work as an effective team unit?

I guess there always has to be some who will be cynical of anything to the point of lunacy

I think it's the constant level of exertion combined with the lack of muscular/skeletal injuries that makes people raise an eyebrow. To dismiss an almost miraculous change in form without even questioning is equally silly. They have stats on putting out the same players totally in a different league to all the other clubs. I find it strange.

Do you actually play the game? Superior pace and endurance makes an enormous difference at any level.

At the elite level these things (particularly fitness/endurance) have been at a stage where all teams have been about equal so the differentiator has been technical ability/quality and tactics - but this Leicester side have absurd levels of energy. It's beyond comprehension, which makes it questionable.

Added to that sport has a history peppered with drugs cheats, were you cynical re Lance Armstrong's achievements?

On balance, I believe there is more chance that there has been a chemistry inspired intervention than not. It is likely to be something new that isn't detectable by the current tests. It may even be technically legal (for now) but something will come out in years to come to help explain the unexplainable (imo)

Ooh getting patronising now. Yes I've played the game for years, and never once has drugs improved my ability to control a football, pass, shoot, find space, mark an attacker, coordinate with my team mates or indeed perform any of the core skills required by a football player.

In a pure endurance event, drugs of course have a huge impact. And for the record, when a bloke who had used drugs to beat cancer was winning back to back Tours, not all of us watched in admiration. But football is not cycling.

Leicester's achievement is beyond question. No serious commentator is questioning its authenticity, and you just make yourself look stupid by doing so.

Do they? A totally different league? I'd appreciate the link, otherwise I'll assume you're talking bollocks.

You two must get through a lot of tin foil.

You are naive pal

No, I'm realistic.

The classic argument of the conspiracy theorist obsessive - the rest of us are naive. When they're the ones who've lost all ability to reason.

Show me the supporting evidence for this theory, I've asked. You have none. Zero. Zilch. Just an incredulity that something out of the ordinary can happen in a sporting arena.

Very sad.

Its not natural. Right?

Doping,
Referees who have been taken in by the romance of a fairy tale or
Richard III's disturbed soul casting a magical glow over the city?

Which is it?

I think it might be a Premier League fit-up to gain maximum exposure in Asia with the rise of the Chinese Super League. Utilize Leicester's owners King Power brand to do so.

It's no coincidence that David Icke was born in Leicester.

Have quick read of this assessment of their tactics.
