What about the 7 teams who have covered more ground than Leicester this season are they on drugs as well?

We were ranked 8th as of the 1st of March.
Look at least 3 of your first team are doping mate, don't worry though it's not a witch hunt, just a pragmatic assessment of players being able to perform at world class levels out of nowhere.

There's no such thing as a fairy tale except one thats about the successful sportsmen who hasn't used performance enhancing drugs.

In the 70s blood doping wasn't even illegal with athltics and former pros have alluded to its use during their time, are you telling me that athletes and footballers have managed to beat those levels of performance by stacking caffeine with creatine and a protein shake on a morning?

Confidence sky high from game one all the way through the season
Balance of the team is perfect, all 11 players are hard-working
Some genuine quality (Vardy, Mahrez and Kante are up there with the best in the league at what they do)
Luck (with lack of injuries and the odd refereeing decision going for them)
Teams underestimating them for 2/3's of the season (most of the top teams face 10 men behind the ball every week, teams didn't play like that against Leicester until recently and it played right into their hands)
Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd and Arsenal being shite - if any one of them got their act together they'd have walked the league this season

Add it all together and you have a fluke season like this - it's a one-off and should be enjoyed by every genuine supporter IMO, don't see the need for bitterness. The doping stuff is nonsense - how do drugs make Vardy score in 11 games in a row or make that back four into a solid unit? It's impossible. Football isn't purely an endurance sport like cycling or long distance running, there are a lot more attributes required that cannot be improved by doping.

Three or four outstanding players backed by good, honest, hungry hard workers can go a long way with a plan, a little luck and a lot of confidence. Have we forgotten 1973 already?
Plus the others are in a bit of mess Spurs & WHU apart.

I'm with you. I just can't see a rationale that can explain the gargantuan turnaround.

As I said on here last week, there's something they have done that we don't know about that's provided a superior level of energy. How they have done that I don't know, perhaps it's some kind of revolutionary training regime or maybe it's some kind of chemistry intervention. Time will tell

Yup, fairy tail stuff but Hollywood isn't real. Paolo banged on about diet and such but it's like him taking that squad with one or two quality additions and winning the league. Their last summer off must have been a dry affair as the Dr's came round blood bagging. Maybe I'm just being bitter but fuck me that is one turn around.

Odd on for a film in 6 months.
We already know they are

This will upset a few but when Newcastle went on the brilliant run and finished 5th, they could easily have done something similar to Leicester. If the top teams had performed as poor as they have this season they could have finished top 2

Haha dont spoil a serious thread mate.

I don't care tbh.

Whatever it takes to break open this PL closed shop. There's a decent argument to be made that sneakily allowing the big clubs to circumvent ffp while threatening the lower clubs with a hammering for doing the same is cheating on a similar scale.

Make no mistake mind, the brand clubs will be trying to steal Leicester's CL place by hook or by crook.

It's too much isn't it!

Experience tells me that if something looks too good to be true then it is

It's like when Reidy's team were 2nd at Christmas, but over a whole season and with a perfect storm of bigger teams playing shite. Nowt more.

Michel de Nostredame (aka Nostradamus) was a 16th-century French philosopher who predicted many tragic events throughout history, including Leicester City to win the Premier League.

I'm not. I genuinely believe there is a rabbit away, logic says there has to be

What's the logic that says a team can be dragged into playing better football?

That pass from Mahrez in his own half on to Vardy who then blasts it into the top corner from 30 yards. Can you enlighten the rest of us how that is the effect of drugs?

The only substance abusers I see round here are those that think you can dope a team into winning the Premier League

The scale of improvement of the team and of many individuals is so huge that it is verging on impossible. Then when you see the levels of energy week in week out then anyone with a logical mind has to question its validity.

Maybe I'm wrong but I believe that one day something will come out about how this has been done and the answer may well be a chemical one - Lance Armstrong anyone???
