Legacy Bar, Park Lane

The Park Inn was really good when it first opened with Bobby Kerr running it..smartly done out..used to serve Budweiser on draught in those chilled/iced glasses..lurverly on a warm night.

youd be very surpised recently with that last comment.

Ive seen and know venues and promoters who publicly slate bands who play them. i wont say her name, but one lass who books some bands does a live facebook stream anytime she sees a band play them songs and its bombarded with comments from others saying theyll not go and see them anymore. Plus depends on the venue. playing a venue where people go specifically to listen to music (greens in town, voyager or trimmers in sheilds, mallard seaham etc and you play any of them songs and youd be heckled on stage (seen it happen thankfully not to us) as they want to hear things different.
However if your gonna play a deadend dump where people go not for the music but to get mortal then yeah they will probs work......its been fortunate enough for us that we have the demand where were able to blacklist those venues and choose the ones we want where we get followings and biker festivals
 Giz a link man.

Greens ain't exactly a muso pub like - take your point with the rest.

Aye. The life and soul of club land.
got some cracking stories about him like.

old man was in a band called Bon Jordi (think you can guess the tribute act) and he sent his two colleagues round to watch the gig etc. anyhow he set the camera up at the back and went and got pissed as he does. little did he realise the camera wasnt secure so bent backwards, 2 hour video of the clock above the stage :lol:

Then went back stage at half time and said "aye its good, one problem though, yous play a lot of bon jovi":lol:

im sure he was called cliffy
