Has anyone noticed that there is a big increase in people having their leg amputated?

Obviously not all but their seems to be a lot of heroin addicts who end up infected and having to have limbs removed. Me and my Aunt counted 5 in the hospital yesterday one of which had a missing arm and when I have been out in Newcastle for an hour today I’ve just counted 3. Grim stuff that.

Used to work with an old bloke in the late 90s. He was told by the doctor if he didnt stop smoking he would loose his leg. He didnt stop, he lost his leg. The same then was warned about his remaining leg, he didnt stop and lost the second. Then the final curtain, if you dont stop now you will die next. He didnt stop and died, 59 iirc he was.
