Christ on a stick, that's horrendous
I think @James went in for the pre sale
Used to be such a great festival as well. Tragic how grim it has become.
That's proper shite.
I can't tell if Leeds/Reading has become absolute dogshit, or whether I've gotten to the age where I just don't know what modern mainstream music is.
I've heard of in total, 11 bands there.
Horrific, and a pale imitation of what it used to be.
It was digshit when u went about 2004.
That line up is baffling. Or did I just get old?
No wonder the likes of Reading and Glasto flog tickets before announcing lineups when their events are as shit as this
I'm asking myself the same thing. The bands I recognise are mostly bands that have been around since I was a teenager. Kendrick Lamar is by far and away the biggest act they've got there mind.
2004 had some great acts as well
The White Stripes
The Von Bondies
Taking Back Sunday
There's grime and rap artists all over that
not what people go to Reading/Leeds to see
Going the same way as V Festival which was glorious around the turn of the century but slowly became a glorified Radio One roadshow

Tons of the fringey emo shite that was popular when I was at school.
Obviously think that generation has a bit wonga now.
since arctic monkeys, there's not been one single world class band come through.
Dear me, that is dreadful.
2 more than me, then again, I'm old.
I agree it's awful, but haway, I'm 50 and I've heard of, I think, 18 of them. Not that I like most of them, but surely at your age you've heard of more than 11?
10 for me although I can only name songs from 3 of them
Dua Lipa? Fuck off.
Separate names with a comma.
