That makes sense. I would add in though that 'going back' rarely works like Keegan going back to Newcastle. I am far from convinced that Keane would have worked out but we'll never know. We'll have to hope Neil works. I do put some store on what fans of previous clubs say and, unlike Johnson fans of Hamilton/Norwich/PNE generally seem to be really positive.There are just as many risks involved in appointing Neil, Keane had an advantage in that he has history with the club and fans. This is Neil's biggest job even though he's "taken a step down to league one". He should be privileged to be here. I don't think he knew 38k had attended against Doncaster until he was informed in his first interview, he looked surprised/shocked.
