Plenty didn’t want him because they hadn’t heard of him. We have had plenty of shite big name managers in the past. It just shows that you shouldn’t write people off without giving them a chance to show what they can do first.
Who you referring to?Love Lee a do the little cockney podgy bastard
I thought he was a great appointment at the time whereas all my friends thought it was a terrible appointment.
Yet strangely enough I have always said play offs for us and still think that, whereas all my mates are convinced we will be champions.

It’s all because of the spin and slide zerne
This argument really pisses me off.9/18. I assume we discount the PJ Trophy as no other manager (bar one) had the opportunity to bump their stats up with that.
50%
Very well put. I have only one question. This argument really pisses me off.
when we were in the PL our managers would get drawn in cups against teams in the championship, league one, and league two, all of which were weaker opposition than us.
Now we are in league one, we get drawn against premier league and championship teams, which are stronger than us, league one teams who are on a par, and league two who are weaker.
But let’s take out any easy games from the stats and only count the difficult ones that suit you agenda right? Because that’s how stats work?
I mean if that’s the case I’m the most leathal striker in 5-a-side history because I only count the shots that score so I have a 100% shot to goal record![]()
Our win percentage was keeping us out of the mix, far too many draws.
Draws are no good when chasing automatic promotion, we need to keep our purple patch going, simple as.

The only nonsense is you taking games out of his stats so as to reduce his win percentage.I don't disagree with the first paragraph tbh (though I'm not sure what 'agenda' you think I have in the second paragraph nonsense), but the OP had drawn a comparison against our other managers including specifically Tom Watson, that's fair enough, comparing third tier to first tier because that's where we are, but at that stage the PJ games were quite a percentage of his total and Tom Watson DIDNT get the chance while winning the league to bang in some games in a competition which excluded the biggest half of all league clubs and his stats DONT include any games against teams in leagues that didn't exist yet. It is a slightly different argument if you think football was invented by SKY and the PL.
Fact is at 56.5% of league wins LJ has done tremendously and now has a higher win percentage than the overall one that the OP posted on March 6th.

Win percentage is purely what percentage of your games have you won. Not what percentage of your games against better opposition, not what percentage of your games about better than or equal to opposition, but what percentage of your total games have you won.
