Lee Johnson win %

Things are going well results wise and I like his positivity. The football will get better as we get players back.

I agree with all that but it’s the daft needles hyperbole that went with your last post “if it wasn’t for Parkinson we would be pissing the league.” Whatever the quality of football he got 23 points from 13 games the same rate as Johnson before today with a tougher run of games. To be pissing the league at this stage he would have had to have had something daft like 33 points from those games.
Have a day off man, not everything you read has to be broken down and inspected to the granular level of discussing PPG and XPG and whatever bollocks is spouted.

Put it this way, had we had LJ since the start, we would be better positioned than we are now.

Do you think otherwise?
Ive watched nigh on every game this season and I really couldn’t genuinely say there’s been much difference in overall performance in a lot of the games. Today’s win and the other night’s wins were very, very similar (in style and substance) to the home wins against Crewe, Ipswich and Peterborough under Parkinson earlier in the season. We’ve been more consistent in the last month (similar to what it was like between Christmas and March last season) but the performance differences are marginal. McGeady being in the side with everything he brings probably makes it very fractionally more enjoyable.

Have I said anything factually incorrect in what you responded to?
Maybe you need your eyes tested then.

Attacking the opposition, playing out from the back, playing with intent, playing your best players (who were previously ignored), incorporating your own academy products, playing to your strikers strengths, the list is endless.

If you cant see the difference in the short time LJ has been here, more fool
you.

No not really as their points return are nigh on the same I don’t think LJ would have got more points out of those fixtures maybe marginally. One team was dull and uninspiring and LJ for me is a better fit and will be better for us. I just don’t buy in to the ones great and the other hopeless narrative that some have that’s all.
You don’t even watch us

Or maybe we just disagree and have different interpretations.

I don’t think if you showed a neutral supporter our home wins over Swindon and Rochdale this past week and then contrasted them with the same fixtures from earlier in the season that they’d be able to say the latest performances were much better or indeed all that different to the earlier. They’d quite rightly ask why McGeady wasn’t playing in the earlier games as he’s clearly our best player but they’d not point to much else.

April will be the biggest month of LJ's career and huge for the club.
IF we take points of Hull and P'Boro and carry on our current form we are definitely in with a shout of automatic promotion.
That rather than the play offs will make a massive difference to the quality of players we can potentially get next season as we will have more time to get people in and gel them.
It's going to be a HUGE month.
I genuinely wish the guy well.
He seems a decent sort who is getting a reaction out of the players he has available, and with more quality becoming available after injuries i'm cautiously optimistic.
Cup win will be massive for confidence as well. The loss last time seemed to knock the stuffing out of us.

The difference between PP & LJ is Aiden McGeady
What about wyke’s pele like record since he arrived?

He took over the mess parky left though. Its also counting the wigan game when he took over like 2 hours before kick off.

Hes had hardly any defenders fit, covid outbreak too

What mess was that tho? 23 points from 13 is a ppg which would have us 4th now exactly where we are now. There have been extenuating circumstances for LJ but the Wigan game was his doing. He chose to take the game because it was a home banker and imposed a new system on the players that they had not even used in training bringing back a quarter fit McGeady. We had only lost 5 in 30 in the league before that game he should have sat in the stand and spent a week working with the players and we woukd probably be 3 points better off now.

Where does the extra 3 points come from?

Wasn’t it around this time last year when Parkinson had us on a lengthy unbeaten run and posters were getting called out for voicing their concerns at the appointment?

In such a small sample size every result is going to cause his win rate to fluctuate massively. His record over his first 19 (I think) games was remarkably similar to Parkinson’s last 19. Let’s review in a year.

it's been fantastic and a lot of it down to McGeady's assists. the point being and as others have pointed out it's down to man management. getting McGeady on the pitch has been a fundamental reason why we're currently doing so well. hopefully it continues through to the end of the season.

Well thats parkys own fault for completely sidelining our best player then isnt it
