Been with us for 10 years now. Will he get one and does he deserve one?

Had some very up and down moments through his years with us but you can't fault his effort this season.

Can't see it being a sell out if there is one mind

    Why wouldn't he get one?

Do clubs not do them anymore? Last one I can remember was Caldwell down at Wolves

  3. I'd give him one.

I'd give him a testimonial as well.

in this day and age- they are pointless unless its a big Niall Quinn style one or an absolute club legend

  11. Doesn't need the money. If he wants to support a charity, he can give some dosh straight to them.

I always thought testimonials were for charity anyway? Not extra cash for the players

  13. They were introduced to support players who had to retire early and to reward long service for others who did not have big incomes.

Enjoyed that day, got a bit edgy with the mixed fans and a drunk Sunderland fan who had to be separated and put in an empty stand by himself.

I don’t think entrance to the game would be compulsory for those who don’t agree.

I personally think it would be fair to give the lad one as a pre season game, it’s more about a matter of respect from the club to him, and an opportunity for others to show there respect to him, and the chosen charity.

I'd give my left bollock to watch a Lee Cattermole testimonial

Imagine the star studded lineups; Fraizer Campbell, Darren Bent, Michael Turner, Skillers, Bardo

I'm being serious, I'd love that

Don’t think they still play for us marra, wouldn’t have a problem going to a testimonial for them mind.

More of an old school thing before the big bucks came in.

I think if he did have one it would obviously go to a generous cause
