Leaving Early again

It's a real problem. Shameful, embarrassing, pathetic. 2-2 and you're leaving?! Why? This seems to be a modern phenomenon. Do you leave 15 minutes before a film ends? Why then for something that you love more than any other.

Grow some balls you retarded fooks. Man up, show your support or fook off.

Anyone that sits near me when I'm at the game I make a point of chastising them. All other real supporters please do the same.
Not this owld chestnut again supporters have done this for ages ... fact ! What about the fuckers who disappear 10 mins before half time for a pint and come back 10 mins into 2nd half ? What is the difference to those who leave 5 mins before end ??

Because they're arguably the most important 5. It's their money so they can do what they want but it's pretty baffling behaviour.

They're idiots as well but leaving early is worse. There's a finality to it. In a war leaving and coming back to the battlefield is bad but not as bad as going never to return.

I always stay, though if we're winning by 2 or losing by 2 understand folk may want to leave.
However today, 10 men, 2-2, the way we played in the first half, I can't understand it at all. So you get home or to the pub ten minutes later ????

Is it really so bad to leave early? They've paid their money, they make their choice.
In truth, at least they bothered to turn up to offer their support, be it for 5 mins, or 85 mins.

Which is better... the fan who attends every game and leaves 10 mins early, or the one who attends half the games but stays until the final whistle? (no right answer of course).

I must admit, I find it a bit strange when the game is on a knife edge, but it's hard to condemn it.

Lad behind me leaves early most times because he has to get to work. I appreciate this isn't the norm but each to their own. Don't see how it bothers people to be honest.

If I'm watching a shit film I'd walk out without a second thought.

I was there until the final whistle today, I generally am. Whether I leave at the 90th minute, 80th minute, 10th minute, or sit at home watching porn and eating quavers rather than going it's my choice.

Embarrassing shite like this thread every week is pathetic.

Bus times. Walked home today instead (40-50mins). Usually can't be bothered after a lacklustre performance, I decide I should do the same and leave early to catch a bus and save my legs too. Today was different though.

I remember when I was a kid watching the lads at Roker, sometimes it was either get the bus or get chips and curry sauce and walk back to Shields.

It's your choice but some find it strange so you'll have to deal with that.

Yeah that's fair enough, it doesn't bother me as such, I just think it's a bit strange. Like the OP says you wouldn't leave the cinema before the end. Some will have valid excuses but I imagine most will just want to get to the bar or beat the traffic. Ultimately it's their choice though.

I've left the cinema a couple of times before the end mind.

Agree it's each to their own. Don't get leaving early most of the time but there's been once or twice when I've gotten home in record time.

Its the people who turn up 10 minutes late, pissing about getting in the wrong seats that annoy me like.

Otherwise you wait for the train an hour it makes sense if you have evening plans and must cut out early.....

Bully

Of course it's upto individuals what they do after spending their money, but that is true up for fans up and down the country so it's strange we have became so notorious for it even on slightly better days like today.
