I don’t see enough goals in the team to be able to get us up unfortunately. PP talked a good game in the summer and i thought we were finally going to sign the type of players we needed. We then signed graham and nobody with any pace. Law of averages suggests one year we might sneak through in the play offs but i dont expect PP to keep his job this summer

Think we are the only team who seem to improve when we don’t play. Personally think we will be very lucky to get in the playoffs. Who’s the player who is going to get close to 20 goals? My bet would be Maguire on 12 goals as top scorer simply not enough for promotion!

There might be one striker in the whole league who gets 20 goals this season, if any striker. 20 goals helps, but I predict no tram will have a 20 goal striker.

One striker last season got 20+.. Didn't get promoted. Season before five got 20+, 2 from those 5 got promoted. Season before that 2 strikers got 20+, none of those two promoted.

It's no pivotol at all is what I'm saying basically. We have more than enough to go up this season.

Cliche bingo, it’s also too early to be happy clapping, but people can have opinions. You are just pissed cos Burton have had a shit start ;)
Back of the net! The only time I watch burton Albion now is when SAFC are playing there. I used to watch them in the 1980s after we’d played school football in the morning.

Typically it's the team who have a rock solid defence that gets promoted. It's simple but it all starts from the back.

I'm happy to get laughed at here but imho whilst I will write Wyke off and say we don't play to Griggs strengths I would give Danny Graham a few more games before writing him off

I reckon we’ve the back line sorted out. Not convinced by Burge, but he’s a solid defensive line in front of him. If, by some form of miracle, good coaching or just luck we can get our front men scoring around 50 goals we’ve as good a chance as any of going up. Gooch, Maguire, Graham, Grigg, O’Brien, Wyke. 8-10 each, even for that lot shouldn’t be a big ask. Chuck in another couple of dozen goals from around the rest of the team and there’s points to be had for us. Still don’t think we’re going to complete the season mind with all that’s going on. If we do it’ll not be with the same amount of teams that started.

Oh dear, the old “dry your eyes mate”, do you want to add anymore childish comments? Realistically we have won 2 out of 4, I said when teams work us out, nothing about the first 4 games. Realistically you said we should have own 4, when in reality, we didn’t deserve to beat Rovers and if the ref had any balls, we may not have got a point. Charlton, despite being on top, we may have lost if Flanagan hadn’t blatantly prevented a goal scoring opportunity. The reason they nearly snatched it is , because at this moment in time, we don’t have a “goal scorer”. Of course things may change, but we are talking about now, not what we might have in future.
Yet, here you are talking ifs and buts and not what is reality. “We might not have got a point against Rovers if the ref had any balls” and “we might have lost against Charlton if Flanagan hadn’t blatantly prevented a goalscoring opportunity”. Let me play . . . If Danny Graham blazed over Charlton’s bar, and if we’d taken just one of the numerous chances we created against Bristol Rovers, we’d have four wins from four.
Don’t get me wrong, we’re no world-beaters, in fact, we’re simply not very good, but neither is this league, and from what I’ve seen so far this season, there isn’t much to worry about.
Of course it’s early and teams will find some consistency, but so far, including the Hull game, we’ve played four of the fancied teams and, in my opinion, been better than them all.

You still got all those injuries for next week Swindon ?

We have Mate
That was tough. Wimbledon scored shut up shop and that was that.
We had a winger playing wing back and didn’t look comfortable.
He hadn’t trained all week as had a sickness bug.
Had an injured player on the bench, stress fracture of the back.
All our injuries are 3 to 4 weeks. It’s going to be tough and a make shift side against you Mate.
Couple of glasses of red wine and hopefully some of the gloom will lift.
