Not what I reckon should happen. However if they do it in league 2 they should now do it in the other divisions. It has to be consistent for the integrity of the system we have for professional football in this country.

league 2 are not relegating anyone........

I think ppg is a shit way of deciding things but it doesn’t affect us really. Should be null and void but teams get a weighting next season so their performance this season is taken into account

Solves the Bury problem doesn't it? We have a 4 tier league system which means that everyone has a chance of competing in the top league one day. That should be maintained by applying the same decision across all of the divisions.

Wouldn't matter one jot if we'd have just done our jobs and not bottled the majority of the season. Honestly see no way out of this with no money to spend and no saleable player assets
How we've done this season doesn't have any bearing on what should happen to the divison

What happens with Bolton? If the season is voided do they have points deducted next season?

It won't be voided cos it creates a massive issue with promotion from L2 given that they've said they are promoting.

Probably the most likely way for us to get promoted but we would be massively fucked in the championship IMO.

Possibly. But anyone can have a decent season in The Championship, depending on if you can get the right people in. (Highly unlikely with the current decision makers).

With finishing the season our only hope of getting out of the third division, we should definitely be pushing for this.
Behind closed doors football sounds horrendous and very unappealing, but if it’s just a one off...

so its ok for the national league to lose out on a promotion spot?
