Id imagine it might be similar to NFL where teams at top get an advantage.
10v9 winner plays 5th
8v7 winner plays 6th.
Nope. More opposition due to the riches of the Championship on offer.
That doesn't mean it won't happen.

True but it does seem rather dependent on what League One and the Championship also need to decide. To be fair they've come to a decision, whereas nee one else has.
Congrats to the Swindon lad.See you next season mate.
Not what I reckon should happen. However if they do it in league 2 they should now do it in the other divisions. It has to be consistent for the integrity of the system we have for professional football in this country.
So do Barrow take the place of Buryleague 2 are not relegating anyone........
So do Barrow take the place of Bury
So do Barrow take the place of Bury
Solves the Bury problem doesn't it? We have a 4 tier league system which means that everyone has a chance of competing in the top league one day. That should be maintained by applying the same decision across all of the divisions.league 2 are not relegating anyone........
How we've done this season doesn't have any bearing on what should happen to the divisonWouldn't matter one jot if we'd have just done our jobs and not bottled the majority of the season. Honestly see no way out of this with no money to spend and no saleable player assets
Agreed - they could do with this level of common sense on the decision making panel.PPG is ridiculous.
The season should either be voided or start up when safe to do so
What happens with Bolton? If the season is voided do they have points deducted next season?
I know, just for purely selfish reasons this wouldn't and shouldn't be an issue for usHow we've done this season doesn't have any bearing on what should happen to the divison
Probably the most likely way for us to get promoted but we would be massively fucked in the championship IMO.

All agreed no relegation but will promote their teams. Unreal that, just dictating things to league 1
We’ve scored 1 goal from open play away from home in 2020. Gooch at MK Dons.
Not if it's happened as a result of today's decision. Were they given the additional spot due to what happened to Bury, or were they always supposed to have it?so its ok for the national league to lose out on a promotion spot?
