Keep thinking back to that game against Rotherham earlier in the season, Mcgeady passes back to the keeper for his pen for us to go 2 up.
As soon as that happened my mate text me saying "this isn't going to be straight forward is it?". As usual, he was right. We were lucky to get a point that night
Lets hope we don't do what we normally do in these situations, eh!
Hopefully tomorrow is an Oxford (a) sort of performance rather than a Portsmouth/Peterborough

Could have done with Rotherham losing to MK Dons but there is only two results we needed to look out for and perhaps the other was the most important for me and for once it went in our favour.

We have a better GD than Coventry. Of all games this is the one that we need to win more than anything.

Really don’t get how Rotherham are rated. Drew 1-1 at home to AFC Wimbledon. Scored a 90th minute winner away to Accrington Stanley and 1-1 draw at home to MK Dons. By the way an MK player went through one on one with the keeper in injury time and put wide.
Rotherham were in the Champo last season. You can tell it makes a difference when you see them play.

Imagine if Sunderland had them results, people would be saying best we can hope for would be play offs or if we'd drew as many games as Coventry.

Yet a lot of people on here think those two will go up automatically even though we still have to play both.

So I think you're right this place definitely over rates a lot of teams in this league and if anything under rate ourselves.

That's what a generation of generally being worse than every team we play will do to the mindset. It'll take years of being steady away before the atmosphere around the club will be anything other than 'this is going to go tits up any minute'

Promotion this season and I think we'll have passed the 'bottoming out' stage

45th or 46th doesn’t really matter if we look at the bigger picture.

last year Norwich were Champions, Sheffield United second in the Championship, now look where they are.
