Lawro thinks we draw 1-1

Olly Murs reckons we get beat

MONDAY

Sunderland v Everton (2000 GMT)

Sunderland's performance in winning 3-0 at Chelsea last Sunday was a breath of fresh air. The way they have gone about dealing with the 5-1 defeat at Newcastle tells you everything you need to know about the players and manager. They have got their heads down and got on with it.

Asamoah Gyan has been a superb signing for Sunderland. He tormented Branislav Ivanovic and Paulo Ferreira last weekend. He is capable of finding the net, he knows when, where and how to run and looks a fine player. It will be interesting when Darren Bent comes back from injury and whether they can forge a partnership, because if they can, they could be very dangerous.

Everton were a little unlucky against Arsenal last weekend. They had a fantastic chance through Tim Cahill in the first half, and of all the players in the Everton side you would want it to fall to him. It will be important for the Toffees to get something against a buoyant Sunderland team so I predict a draw.

Prediction: 1-1
