I'm not a big fan of spending too much time in PP and my weapon of choice was always Lightroom. It allowed my to boost the saturation by +5, bit of sharpening, knock the exposure up by 0.3 stops etc but I'm not a fan of going over the top. Lately been hearing a lot of good things about Capture 1 so thought I'd give it a whirl.........I can't believe the difference.......I thought all programs would be the same when working on RAW files, how wrong I was! The biggest difference you'll see from when this shot was first uploaded is the sky, its a million miles apart in colour and there's also a LOT more detail retained in the foreground. Phase One may have ust found their latest convert!
