Latest boxing crack

Serious? Even now, this Kell with so many miles on the clock and a smashed face comfortably beats Eubank. Fundamentally, Eubank can't box; Kell still has those slick boxing skills which will be too much for Eubank.

Eubank doesn't deserve to be in the ring with someone like Kell, hasn't done enough in boxing. 'Hope Kell doesn't give him that payday.
Absolutely mental comment that mind. Eubank wins against the current Kell Brook with tons to spare.
Come on now....that's just ridiculous.
Eubank would be the betting favourite if the fight was made.
Of course he would. He’s a good boxer, in his prime, doesn’t have the demons or scars of Brook. It was a good fight by Brook who won because he wanted it more but at the top level he is finished.

Why? Eubank can't box, never has been able to. Kell may have a lot of miles on the clock and a smashed face, but Eubank simply doesn't have the boxing fundamentals to take advantage of that. Eubank would get taken apart by a very talented boxer in the same way George Groves took him apart. Eubank is not a world level fighter, never has been and never will be, and is massively out of his depth with the like of Groves and more so Kell.

I don't think it's dawned on a lot of people what a good boxer Kell Brook was and still is. There's a reason why he didn't get the big fights until he had his face smashed. Too slick which made him too dangerous.

Eubank is a full blown middle/super middleweight with a granite chin who hits hard. Kell can't walk him down like last night.
If the fights made at middleweight Eubank takes a full stone advantage into the ring....

Poor from Khan really, didnt look in shape and ready for the fight, after so long out of the ring he should have maybe had a tune fight before what was ultimately this last fight !

After so much build up and hatred he owed it to himself to do better than just rely on heart to last for 6 rounds and be shown up by his ‘ bitter rival ‘

Coming out with all that ‘ the love for the game isnt there ‘ bollocks aye mate you’ve shown that but you were still happy to fake it for the money last night

Prime Brook was better than Prime Khan, by miles. However Brook has taken alot more damage than Khan has, specifically the GGG fight, where his actual soul is still lying somewhere in GGG's wardrobe and it's never been returned since - Errol Spence Jr fight proved that, Crawford confirmed it... Brook won the first few rounds with the jab but soon as the first proper exchange happened he bailed so fast America are still processing his visa.

Brook simply wanted it more, while Brook's hitting the pads, Khan's playing f***ing countdown with Jimmy Carr... It's literally AJ in 4 months time where he'll be the poster boy of BooHoo

Id love to see kell destroy eubank though
It would be a spectacular way to go out.

That golovkin fight man, what was he thinking. That could’ve been the death of him. Going up however many weights to fight a prime GGG was an actual suicide attempt. And his face is now made of tiny pieces of matchsticks. Eddie Hearn should’ve been done for allowing that to happen

I don't understand a lot of the hate hearn gets but he deserved to get shit for sacrificing brook just so he could get ggg over here.

Daft comment this mind. There's a reason Sky were pushing this last night.

As to the later comparisons to Grove... Groves walked around as cruiser/heavyweight. I know Kell has always been a big Welter/Light middle, but just incomparable to somebody like Groves

It was the perfect time to make both Canelo v GGG and Brook v Khan. Instead we got Khan get iced by Canelo and Brook get his eye turned to rubble by GGG

Hearns just a promoter,he’s everything you expect a greasy manipulator. Take him with a pinch of salt me so I find him bearable. I still like it when his cash cow AJ gets whooped though

The same Eubank who vacated his belt because the other 4 belt holders are all Canelo and he knows he'd get knocked back to bum city.... He won't be challenging Murata anytime soon, professional dodgeball player more like, he's done more dodging than fighting lately.

I think so, but then Hatton fought Mayweather in his absolute prime

Iirc the Khan fight was touted before he fought Berto... would have been a difficult night for Mayweather at that stage in his career. I don’t think he fancied the relentless speed... the sort of thing that somehow convinced some people that ODLH beat him.

That was exactly my feeling at tge time. Berto was shot at that point and Khan was the biggest fight and more money. Wouldve been a huge fight. He was defo weary of the speed of khan. Khan was mocked for saying mayweather was avoiding him but it was true imho mayweather has fought everyone who was biggest payday and berto was definitely not that.

Khan would've never given Mayweather a tough night imo. Whilst he has speed and a decent jab, he had too many glaring limitations. He never got the fight because he seemed to believe he was owed the fight and Mayweather avoided it out of spite
Think Khan's speed would have given him a few issues early but I think it would have looked very similar to Mayweather-Judah, except that Floyd probably would have been able to stop Khan late.

Thing with Judah was he was a very loose southpaw who could beat Mayweather at his some aspects of his own game. I think Khan's jab could've looked good for a few rounds, couple of flurries to get the crowd going etc, but ultimately would've just got jabbed in the sternum most of the night and caught whippy hooks round the outside and straight lead rights.

Exact same nonsense when people said Pacman would beat Mayweather..... Mayweather had his critics handpicking his opponents but his defensive work will never be matched, read everyone like a bible at church inside 3 rounds and beat everyone with attrition

Because I watched the fight in the bars last night... Only just hearing about how they made Brook change gloves during Khan's ring-walk because they decided they wanted Thai-Leather instead of Horsehair (the latter is basically like getting hit bare knuckle, but Khan changed his mind literally last second)

Makes it all even more impressive for me... If you put a pair of brand new genuine gloves on and feel how rigid and tight they are like wearing a new pair of trainers, absolute zero time to break into them
