Seen the DAZN survey? Only seen the screenshots on Twitter as I cancelled when they increased the price but they're on about bringing back PPV and ask 'on a scale of 1-0 how likely would you be to purchase Dillian Whyte vs Andy Ruiz for £29.99?'
Wow...backs up my thoughts posted on the previous page from earlier today. Not cutting any ice it seems. Still, though, how would they promote it to casual fans?Seen the DAZN survey? They'd pay it for a lot worse fights than that, probably Whyte V Ruiz as mentioned, but it needs a big hype job & marketing campaign that DAZN haven't brought to the table to date.People would pay ppv for wilder vs joshua.
Zab Judah was the perfect example of getting up to quick.Wilder fans love to start counting
Fact (and the rules) is that the ref counts. The fighter has to be up by 10 (although in practise, 8) and then has to do whatever the ref tells him to do. Ref needs to check the fighter is fit to continue, and these tests are not part of the 10 count process.
Its actually good practice NOT to get up before 7-8. Often a fighter's head seems clear, but when they stand, their legs wobble, and the ref almost always stops the fight if that happens. Popping straight up isn't a good idea. Instead, take the 8 count and give yourself the best chance to recover. Then the ref will probably talk to you, ask if you want to go on - if yes he'll ask you to hold the gloves up, walk towards him and clean the gloves off before re-starting the fight.
That can easily take 20 seconds, and that's if the other fighter goes to the neutral corner and doesn't get in the way. Wilder only has himself to blame for not doing the basics. But hey, that's Wilder in general, eh?
How many clean power punches hit his left ear. Ouch.Great video this. How did Wilder last so long
Love how much of Fury’s work with both hands is with the intention of clearing away and moving Wilders hands and therefore defence !How many clean power punches hit his left ear. Ouch.
Mind, Wilders body was wide open so often. If Fury had wanted, he could have destroyed him to the body.
They can get fucked.Seen the DAZN survey? Only seen the screenshots on Twitter as I cancelled when they increased the price but they're on about bringing back PPV and ask 'on a scale of 1-0 how likely would you be to purchase Dillian Whyte vs Andy Ruiz for £29.99?'
Thing is with fury I think if he lost he wouldn’t have mentioned his leg and would have got on with it,By the way, anyone see that Fury knacked his ankle when Wilder fell on him in the 4th? All swollen up afterwards and said it really affected him all fight.
And he still smashed him! On one good leg
I wonder now if the reason Tyson smothered his own work was because he wasn't able to move freely. Because there were loads of times Wilder was hurt and unable to defend himself after taking a big shot, but Fury didn't step back and unload, and instead just clinched.Thing is with fury I think if he lost he wouldn’t have mentioned his leg and would have got on with it,
watching that video back shows how much he had total control and even though wilder always has a punchers chance the doctor or his corner could have had the towel in seen pissed blokes in town move better than wilder
Think both make sense mate the first would explain why he held back.I wonder now if the reason Tyson smothered his own work was because he wasn't able to move freely. Although that could have absolutely been a safety-first tactic. Bomb and stop, Bomb and stop.
Not a prediction. What i believe is the ‘value’ in the fight. Can't see an upset here. Think it was more Fury being terrible on the night than Wallin being good. The cut ended up being the main story of the night and gave Wallin a platform.
That’s a wind up man. Shirley?Seen the DAZN survey? Only seen the screenshots on Twitter as I cancelled when they increased the price but they're on about bringing back PPV and ask 'on a scale of 1-0 how likely would you be to purchase Dillian Whyte vs Andy Ruiz for £29.99?'
Anyone seen the video’s and crack about Fury getting a standing 8 count at the end of the 4th round which actually covered a period of 15 seconds ?!?
Noticed you happened to bypass my praise of Fury in my last post mate ! Missing out my posts that dont fit your narrative of me being a Fury abuser !Not a prediction. What i believe is the ‘value’ in the fight.
