Latest boxing crack

He doesnt fuck about with that left hook.

Been a canny weekend of boxing, 3 really good fights on the Belfast card on Friday and a knockout of the year candidate in the Lemieux-Stevens scrap.

Could probably make a case for Lemieux being the hardest puncher in the sport pound-for-pound at the minute.
Randall bailey still fighting....Ggg, krusher,stevenson.....to name an obvious few.

But aye he is up there like.

Another cracking weekend of boxing on 'The Channel of Champions'. In the early hours of Saturday they're showing Michael Conlan's pro debut and 24 hours later it's Golovkin-Jacobs, whilst all of the attention is on the main event there are some very good fighters on the undercard as well.

- Roman Gonzalez (widely seen as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world right now) defends his WBC Super Flyweight Title against Wisaksil Wangek, who is regarded as being the heaviest puncher in the division
- Carlos Cuadras is also on the card and a rematch with Gonzalez looks a formality should they both win on the weekend, if anyone on here hasn't seen their fight from last September it's definitely worth a watch and is available on HBO Boxing's YouTube page
- Ryan Martin defends a fringe lightweight belt, seen him fight a couple of times and been really impressed with him
- Andy Lee returns to the ring for the first time since he lost the WBO Middleweight Title to Billy Joe Saunders in December 2015

Not too much point in the Linares-Crolla fight but i will tune in after the big World Cup qualifiers. Pretty similar outcome i reckon, Jorge, 8-4, 9-3 type decision.

Deontay Wilder says he on a whole other level to Joshua, Parker and Wlad ...... what a joke

He's a wild slinging American who's fought not too much n it took him 9 rounds to get rid of Molina !

I get that ego is a big pet of boxing but my God

Watched it last week, thought the interviewer was a bit odd with the questions afterwards.
You'd think I've been punched in the head a number of times as I cannot recall what he asked him.

Josh Kelly from Sunderland made his pro debut on the Burns undercard last night and I thought he looked really impressive. Was actually matched in with a pretty decent opponent as far as pro debuts go as well.

Watched the main event. Burns got absolutely schooled. One judge still managed to score it only by 4 rounds though :lol:

Josh Kelly definitely 1 to watch, good confidence showboating in his first fight.

People will be queuing up wanting to punch his head in so he will have to back it up.

Thought the same last night whilst watching. His cockiness will annoy others, may be a good thing or may not.

Booth is definitely the right trainer for him if he's going to persist with that style like. Really hope he fulfills his potential like, the only other ticket seller there's been up here in recent years is Jeffries and even without the injuries he wasn't really going anywhere in the pro game.

Seems to have gained a lot of fans on Twitter and the forums as well after last night.

Guessing that's the judge Hearn bought and paid for then...

Even if you were looking to be mega generous to Burns, you could only have given him 1 round IMO.

It says a lot about the sport that I was slightly nervous Burns was going to get a decision

Decent twitter spat between Joshua and Tyson, Tyson calls him a poor mans Bruno Joshua replies by inviting him to the fight with 2 tickets both being required to seat his fat ass !

Decent

Win for Joshua I think

Boxing lads, can you help me out.
I seem to remember a title fight before Xmas, in a casino, maybe even monte carlo. The fight was a total joke, one guy who i think was in pink shorts, was just running away.
Seem to remember the commentators talking about the bloke that won as a possible opponent for Joshua. Any ideas? Can't remember either boxers name
