Latest boxing crack

Ultimately it looks like Joshua should have just stuck it out with Rob McKracken. Clearly the coach that got the best out of him, knew him well son was good with him strengths and limitations both physically and mentally.

I don't think he would have went out there and just walked into a barrage of jabs and hooks with his hands down and chin up if he was with McKraken. Probably still would have lost as I think he's done but getting the very fundamentals wrong front he off did not help him at all.

He seemed to have a spell a couple of years ago where his ego started to go wild with some of the stuff he was coming out with so people are always going to be a bit harsher when judging him compared to other young trainers.

He's definitely, or at least has been, arrogant. Undoubtedly.

If fury gets beat of usyk in rematch ( he won’t btw, max bet here)

I actualy reckon AJ v fury would draw a good PPV and potential stadium fight

I’d love to see it - couldn’t give a toss if past peak. It would still be an event 😎 in fact be tempted to go.

And guarantee it would get more traffic on here than just about other fight (bar maybe 2/3 fights )

It would still draw a similar Wembley attendance to last night.

They could still sell out Wembley 3 times over

FWIW, AJ in the middle rounds, Dubios tiring due to bravely taking too many shots, with AJ's power being more than he expects.
Fwiw.
Entirely worthless
Lol

Mind, I have previously said that dubois camp has repeatedly came up with game plans that work.
Last night was clearly to jump on him and give him no space to breath. And it worked perfectly.

Still young enough to keep improving too. Could be the next big thing?

Frank is like a Cheshire cat at the minute. All going so well for him.

Superb final run before he packs in like. Looked like it was going to be a tame end before he passed everything over when Eddie really had a grip on British boxing.
Fwiw.

Love to see him against Bakole

95% predicted aj in the thread tbf……and made sense, upsets are part of what makes the sport great.

I love him, anar he’s not liked by loads, 40 years at the or near the top man.

His book looks like it’s finally being released next month after a delay of a year. Assuming legal shit.

I couldn't give a toss about Fury V AJ now. I wanted to see who the best was, not who is least shot. Same with Wilder, the time has passed on those fights.

Usyk v Fury is the last fight on this generations. After that it's all about the upcoming generation, hopefully Dubois can take the baton and run with it.
Apart from Dubois who else is there? Parker is still quite young for a heavyweight I suppose

Got to give DDD huge credit, underdog with many and 7/2 with the bookies (which was ridiculous odds), he's handled himself very well in the build up and never once looked intimidated. In fact he was getting Joshua riled up and it was very telling. Impressive performance out the ring. Inside the ring he had Joshua petrified after about 10 seconds and it was very noticeable. After that it was brutal truth be told, I thought the ref was trying hard to save Joshua it was blatant. I think the Hearn cash cow needs to pack in now, never been a fan of his and despite him looking a bit better under his new trainer, last night he was instantly exposed for what he really is and DDD found it very easy. Dubois will be on the top table now, we won't see a rematch and I think Dubois will have a go at Fury/Usyk now and he's deserved that because he was superb last night.
