Don't want to take away from Dubois but that was really poor from Joshua. Being caught with an overhand like that in the first round is poor and the fight was essentially over after it.

That fight or nothing imo.
Hopefully it's nothing. Turns 35 next month and it's very rare that a fighter comes back from such a one-sided beating at that age, plus he had a fair bit of mileage on the clock even before tonight.

People calling AJ a coward is utterly bizarre.

Bet none have ever laced gloves & got in a ring.

No cowards get in the ring and they certainly don’t make it to the olympics, win gold and become heavyweight world champions.

My favourite insult that people use is "the modern day Frank Bruno"... as if it's a criticism and not a massive achievement to be at that level in your given field.

The first round decided it.

There's no point in trying to assess Joshua's performance after that because he never recovered and it was very obviously just a matter of time.

I thought he showed incredible heart to survive as long as he did, he was even fighting like crazy to get up from that last knockdown, and incredibly almost got himself in position to win it.

The ref let him go on too long tonight. Taking so many shots like that can’t do anyone any good.
I’m not even sure he was stopping it before the towel came in.
