Latest boxing crack

Gonna be interesting to see how all this Kinahan stuff plays out. They have a lot of boxers under contract (not just British either). Are heavily linked to owning or having involvement with Probellum, MTK, Boxxer, IFL etc

Could see this collapse the full boxing hierarchy tbh. Hopefully they leave no stone unturned and that means investigations into match fixing with BBBOfC as well (Taylor and Ritson just two of the big dodgy decisions for MTK fighters recently).

Apparently they are getting sued for nicking JoJo Diaz from his promotion company and suddenly Diaz is up for noncing charges so can see lots of stuff getting leaked and people getting dragged into the shit.

Bet there's a lot of people in the boxing world absolutely shitting it this week especially when you have high profile people linked with Kinehan, he is/was Fury's advisor afterall, Maclin whose name they use as a front is a commentator for Sky. Warren and Hearn have both done deals with him, Sky, BT have had plenty of their fghters on. Channel 5 just made a deal with Probellum and Eurosport just cancelled theirs.

Gonna be a lot of dominoes going down.
They seem really enmeshed in boxing - as you say it'll be interesting how it pans out. Waiting to see what the Fight Disciples say on their podcast about it all. They've been vocal about Kinahan's role in boxing but at the same time are working for Probellum.

Looks like almost every boxer of significance is in bed with the Kinahans. Previous names of AJ's company...
I'm honestly hoping this Kinahan thing is so deep it fucks the whole infrastructure of boxing up tbh.

Like I think the sport needs to be rebuilt because it's just filled with corruption so would be nice is a few sanctioning bodies got thrown in the mix as well and wiped them out.

Essentially this should stop the overpaying of boxers in order to launder money through the events and hopefully that means the boxers start needing to make the good fights when they are relevant to get the best paydays.

I can't help but feel like the BBBofC and such will be implicated (two of MTKs fighters have benefited from horrendous Robbie's in the last year or so of the top of my head in Tylor v Caterall and Ritson v Vasquez) so hopefully they get wiperld out as well.

Then someone pick up all the pieces and turn it into a UFC style business. Maybes fantasising a bit but seriously think. This could have huge rmmifications for the sport from top to bottom as everyone seems knee deep in it from networks to promoters to boxers, to sanctioning bodies.

This Fury presser man

For all the issues with Hearn, fish eyes massively out of his depth putting on a big stadium show like this.

No surprise good ol’ Bob was quick to distance himself from the Kinahan crack asap
Despite mentioning him by name in the past in interviews about Fury.

No fight disciples podcasts this week because of half term. Guessing that's because they don't want to say anything that could bite them on the arse.

Won't be as much money but will help make the sport better imo. At current fighters are overpaid which means they fight less, don't fight the guys they should do at the time they should do. That'll change when there's no money being laundered through them.

It'll also kill a fair bit of the divide. In the UK at least there is:

Matchroom - DAZN
Warren - BT
Probellum - Eurosport/Five
PBC - Fite TV
Boxxer - Sky

It's way too split for a niche sport like boxing. Eurosport already pulled the plug on Probellum and imagine Five will as well. Eurosport will merge with BT and take Warren's roster on. Five will go back to small hall and hopefully Fire TV fucks off for good at somepoint.

All those rosters will get complete control over their boxers now as most of them have been under MTK and don't need to fight when asked so that will change as well, they'll go where they can get on TV and be more willing to take tougher fights as it'll mean more money.

Hopefully they will investigate the BBBofC whilst they are at it and Robert Smith ends up doing one with his band if crooks and that gets reformed.

World scale is a bit more difficult but I don't think it'll take long for it to recover int he UK, it's already at rock bottom over here for the most part anyway, only the heavies keeping it afloat.

I think DK has been trying to launder his reputation and gain leverage over influential people in the sport rather than wash much of his money

You won't find out how many people are actually there because the attendance announced will be tickets sold.

Really ?!? Didnt know that, so they’ll be able to boast of a sell out even if theres 10,000 empty seats
That's what they do at football matches. I assume it will be the same. All tickets have been sold officially. Might be some bargains to be had as the week goes on. I still think the attendance will be close to full capacity anyway.
