Latest boxing crack

The DAZN highlights on YouTube are spot on mind.

Thought GGG looked good, particularly in the later rounds.

Garcia surely gets walloped by a boxer who can punch. He is so open when he comes in.

I dont think he does at this point like.
GGG didnt look better than Plant (given bigger weight) or Bivol (world champion in even bigger weight division). Id even put Smith & Billy Joe as arguably more dangerous fights due to their size and skill respectively.
All 4 of those mentioned arguably beat GGG now if they fought at their natural weight now.

Imo If this fight happens at 168 Canelo beats GGG up in the last half of the fight, no stoppage but GGG isnt going to be throwing more punches now then he did 5 years ago and Canelo is huge now in comparison to 2017.

I think Canelo could possibly stop him on his feet now. The chin still seems to be there but I think Canelos volume could see the ref stepping in as GGG gets tired. I hope we don't get to find out.

If Canelo wins next month and it is actually an 'if' id rather see him try and unify or move up to that cruiserweight they called out in December....a defeat and can see it happening as a stop gap fight

US offering 5m USD for info leading to the disruption of, or arrest and conviction of the top three suspects. When Dan is inevitably given a life sentence or bumped off, there's going to be a lot of boxers scrambling to distance themselves from the association and no doubt some saying it's a stitch up

Was reading about the sanctions yesterday. He is going to run out of road eventually.

Aye, he will do. He's probably the palest man in Dubai, so something tells me he spends the majority of his time well sheltered/guarded.

Just realized I missed the link off like, for those who aren't aware I'm on about Dan Kinahan

The link I read last night on Reddit has had the post removed. It was posted on the subreddit of a boxing video game that Kinahan was allegedly funding the development of.

Would have thought that the US had decent enough relations with the UAE to get him extradited.

Wow. Knew he was a bit of a wrong un but 5m bounty from the States is nee joke. They must really think he's into some shit.

Apparently the KOCG import roughly 1/3 of Europe's supply of cocaine

Kinahan and MTK ( the rebranded 'clean' face of his organisation ) are so heavily entrenched into so much of modern boxing its gonna be fascinating to see how this unfolds, as mentioned above good ol' fish eyes surely dropped his backside at the news ahead of his surely MTK funded WBC title fight next weekend

Gonna be interesting to see how all this Kinahan stuff plays out. They have a lot of boxers under contract (not just British either). Are heavily linked to owning or having involvement with Probellum, MTK, Boxxer, IFL etc

Could see this collapse the full boxing hierarchy tbh. Hopefully they leave no stone unturned and that means investigations into match fixing with BBBOfC as well (Taylor and Ritson just two of the big dodgy decisions for MTK fighters recently).

Apparently they are getting sued for nicking JoJo Diaz from his promotion company and suddenly Diaz is up for noncing charges so can see lots of stuff getting leaked and people getting dragged into the shit.

Bet there's a lot of people in the boxing world absolutely shitting it this week especially when you have high profile people linked with Kinehan, he is/was Fury's advisor afterall, Maclin whose name they use as a front is a commentator for Sky. Warren and Hearn have both done deals with him, Sky, BT have had plenty of their fghters on. Channel 5 just made a deal with Probellum and Eurosport just cancelled theirs.

Gonna be a lot of dominoes going down.
