Where's best for getting car wheel's aligned?
Anywhere near Queen Alexander Road/Grangetown?

Normally around £25-£30 for the basic laser setup but it's only £15 with voucher in link below at National Tyres. Only thing is that it's nee good for you as it's in Washington (5 mile from town centre according to map) but maybe for someone else.

Voucher valid til end of year http://www.national.co.uk/special-offers-wheel-alignment.aspx

Took 2 cars a couple of weeks back and first was done spot on. Couldn't do my car as my car sits too low so have to hoy some other wheels on so they can get gear to fit around wheel. No bookings available at National as it's just turn up and wait. I just went along at 8:20ish as they opened at 8:30 and got seen to straight away and took about 20 mins to do the one car. Big lads fans anarl and very friendly and helpful so fully recommended .

Kwik Fit have the 'Hunter' setup (or similar) down beside Mowbray Park (Borough Road) where you get the fancy printout similar to below but it's more costly.

They couldn't give a price and they were going to quote as it's a 'free' check. I said it was simply the insides of tyres that were wearing down so he said it would be £49.95 to adjust the toe. It had also been pulling to the left so didn't really want to wait 45 mins or so as it was already 5pm and I was pushed for time so I just went to National the next morning.

Not sure what to make of this regarding someone taking their car to different branches for free checks and getting different results.

You can use lasers all you want. It still comes down to a blowke with a spanner.

Correct.

And it's still called tracking

Don't use KwikFit for anything.

I went for a battery last year & they proceeded to also tell me that 2 tyres were fooked and needed replacing. The car passed the MOT 3 months later.
