Our company was trying to buy laptops in march, april and may it was an absolute nightmare. We had to buy refurbished laptops off ebay for 2 or 3 times their actual value as no where had any other than £2k laptops which I assume the government also wont want

I expect things will pick up now as stock levels are returning slowly

There was a major shortage of Intel processors at the start of the year. Most supply channels were quoting 8 weeks.

Most have them now, it is a localised problem now, but it has been a very poor roll out.

Because the government yet again spoke with out thinking, raising expectations which could never be met.

.. Seen one of the Bairn's mates mans picking one up from Bede Ryhope about a month ago. Could have had my spare one if I'd known.. Doubt there are that many people who actually need one ..
