Cambo just been interviewed basically saying had a shocker didnt deal with the pace especially Aspinwall. But we are a good team and comeback fighting tomorrow.

Just got in from work and stayed away from the score, stuck the YouTube stream on and saw how short the video was and instantly knew we must’ve been tonked.

My word, that was f*cking abysmal.

Why didn’t any of them work out that there was a bit of pace and bounce in the wicket, literally 6 of them were caught mistiming pulls and cuts which ballooned up in the air for easy catches 🤷‍♂️.

She left the club 12 year ago. There was barely social media. No video content.

Why do you think Lancs might have covered this particular game more comprehensively than Durham

There’s live streams and numerous ways to see the scores these days. Few clubs cover ball by ball minute by minute

Team loses dig out everyone at the club.
There’s three people work in marketing and coms and one is the director with a wider remit. They cover marketing, all coms including match coverage, live stream, website, all social media, video content, run retail, oversee box office, support commercial, deliver t20 onfield production the list goes on. It’s not Man City or even Lancs

He's not been very good for us but journeymen isn't the word to use.

We had a live match chat so we knew the game situation ball by ball it was good consistent content to mirror technology back in those days and the website was ever so reliable which up until recently was an absolute disaster of a website. 12 years on with all this wonderful technology, the in play updates from our social media team tonight were pitiful. Only last week at home we had to rely on Somerset to show social media content of the pitch and a prospects of playing update so that sort of blows your question about the home team providing better content. It's not difficult for the club regardless of venue to send a tweet of score updates. The venue in 2024 is totally irrelevant for the lack of updates. They didn't have an issue showing us a video of the team getting off the bus, but can't provide regular score updates.. haway man, it's absolutely shite.

Erm I think you missed the point. It was nothing to do with it being an away game. We got battered. It was hardly something to be shouting about.

The umpires decide if the game is on. Look out the window for a guide, it’s as much as the club know until they decide

I was meaning in general obviously not ruling a player out after a game but I remember us having some overseas players who turned in match winning efforts.

I just feel again we lack 6 hitting power through the line up still baffles me that Bedders is omitted he’s cracked 20 sixes in first class cricket in 6 matches.

I know a lot of the top players miss this tournament as it comes after the IPL but uninspiring is his I would describe our overseas last 2/3 years they have just not performed Tahir did pretty well in his short spell.

It is what it is I guess. Not everyone will use the live stream "just to quickly check the score" but it's not difficult to just put a tweet out is my point.

The game was covered the same way every game for years has been. There is no ball by ball coverage on Twitter. The scores at the intervals and end and then any significant highlights are shown within the allowed parameters of coverage. The only highlight last night was one wicket.

There are so many ways to follow a game now it’s better to use Twitter for highlights not spam everyone with text. As we all know there were none last night unfortunately 😭
