He did alright at Derby (only alright mind), but Chelsea was a step to far to soon for me. He always comes across as a miserable bugger and arrogant when he gets asked a difficult question by a commentator.

Thing is we have the usual fellow pro brigade saying he's been poorly treat and should have had more time.

Wrong , he should not have got the job in first place. Loads of top managers do their apprenticeship at a lower level for a lot longer than he did.

Good player so there you go have this top job , whilst good managers slog away in lower leagues for years.

He leaves a nice richer man for the "jobs for the boys" role he was given.

Thought he wasn't that much, and was still too much if you know what I mean.

agree with you on that like, thought it was a weird buy for Chelsea,he totally efft his career up going there like, grass is greener syndrome, turns out it wasn't
Sky Sport news is in mourning. Asking other managers their thoughts on it, and amongst the usual, shocked/saddened bollix, a ray of light in the form of Ralph Hasenhüttl, who pretty much says he couldn't give a flying one.

like that bit mind, just shows what the rest of the so called experts are like

Not sure we’ve spent £1.2 billion? Our record signing was around £15 million (2 or 3 times we spent around that I think). We’d need to be giving wages of like £100k a week which again is way more than our highest ever earned which I think was Rodwell at £75k a week.
Kieran McGuire the football account/analyst did the report. Search ‘premier league all time top spenders’
@Bear isn't in a glass house mate, Everton are still in the Prem ;)
Damned imposters

Outcasted Tomori for whatever reason to persist with shite like Christensen, Rudiger a bang average Zouma and an old man in Thiago Silva at CB ... Genius

😂 what did he say?

Not a fan of fat Frank by any stretch but it does seem like he was used as a step gap while the transfer ban was in place to me. Free to get a name in now and maybe splash the cash again is Roman still fancies it.
That maybe well off the mark, can't say I've taken that much notice of the PL for 2 seasons now.

Worst thing Lampard done is tried to spend big money. He was building a very good young English side then abandoned it all in favour of so called superstars. How has that worked out Frank?

not entirely sure the manager / coach at Chelsea would have all that much say in the player brought in tbh.

But regardless, with the money spent, expectations change. Is it Lampard’s fault several of the overseas signings look like taking a season to settle in? Probably not.

He has spent a ridiculous amount of money to be nowhere near challenging for the title

Cam see why he has been sacked personally

I think partly it is playing Werner left a lot of the time and not knowing where to play havertz

Right decision. We've seen it a lot with a few teams giving their managerial roles to ex-players. Whether it's to get someone that has the club in their DNA or the hope that it will give allow them less criticism from fans....im not sure it's the right method to go down. I wouldn't want SKP to have the Sunderland job

He spent a lot and the performances and results were worse than Conti or Sarri. Don't think he can have too many complaints.
