Anybody actually seen him play regularly?
Never seen him play but I know Sam has been keeping track of him since he was at West Ham, must see something decent in him at least. Shame he wasn't in a few days ago to play the mags behind closed doors.

Everything is undisclosed these days, there's an air of "ship out the shite for nowt" about all these loans though.

But thats the case with other clubs too, because wages have overtaken transfer fees. No good hanging onto several players paying their wages, just incase you get a few hundered grand.

If he trips ower the ball i'll bloody scream for spending £5M

Doesnt 'deceptively quick' mean 'looks really slow but actually moves marginally quicker than someone with their laces tied together'
i remember the first time i saw some Belgian game and the commentator called one of Genk's defenders 'the Elephant' i was pissing myself.
Then he got the ball and ran at the opposition....fuck me, absolute lightening fast, the commentator carried on saying thats why he was nicknamed the elephant, looks slow and cumbersome but can shift through the gears if necessary.

Always stuck in my mind....god knows why

If he played he may have made all the difference to the corner count. Cant believe they won more corners the jammy gets. We will forever be in their shadow.

I'll wait to hear if his stats on fifa/champ man are any good before I make a fair judgement tbh.

Or if he has a highlight reel on YouTube with gangsta rap blaring over it, then this will be proof enough that he's the dogs danglies.

I've got a good feeling, just based on height. He isn't as tall as the string of 6ft 5, slow, useless players we have had in recent years such as Kiriakos, Diakate, etc. Not many really tall player are much good imo

I think the point is that what we had wasn't good enough, so we had to take the risk on bringing someone in. We have nothing to lose as without changes, we are going down.
That approach is how we ended up with the clowns who are not good enough. However I take your point that it is difficult to see an alternative strategy.
